In anticipation of the ‘Once Upon A Time’ pilot screening and Q&A with show creators and executive producers, Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, at Disney D23 Expo on Saturday, August 20 at 12:45 pm, ABC has provided us with newly updated character posters from the series. The most obvious difference between these posters and those previously released at San Diego Comic Con is the updated logo for the show.
Marvel is coming to Anaheim this year to make its historic debut at D23, the ultimate Disney fan event, and it’s pulling out all the stops!
On Sunday, August 21, at 10:15 a.m. in the Arena, join them for Marvel: The House of Ideas, an exclusive and unprecedented experience that will take you through the evolution of Marvel from its first comic book in 1939 to its current position as one of the most important creative forces in the world. During this presentation, which will include interactive Q&A segments, attendees will not only get an inside glimpse of the history of Marvel and its iconic Super Heroes but also discover why Marvel truly is the House of Ideas. This session will be hosted by Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer and one of the most respected and sought-after writers and artists in the entertainment industry.
Disney artist Robert Olszewski has announced that he will be releasing a few new items at the Disney D23 Expo beginning on Friday, August 19. Among his new pieces will be a 2011 D23 Expo PokitPal (pictured) available exclusively to D23 members for $19.95.
Also being introduced at the Expo is Gallery of Light entries ‘Baby of Mine‘ inspired by Dumbo and ‘Talk to Crush‘ from Finding Nemo, both of which will retail for $85, Olszewski Miniature Disneyland Main Street, USA addition ‘Pinocchio’s Daring Journey,’ which will retail for $425 and an Heirloom Boxes Collection – Paper Clip Series entry, Sleeping Beauty Maleficent which will retail for $30. Olszewksi will also be displaying a new Fantasyland platform.
When the Disney D23 Expo comes to the Anaheim Convention Center from August 19-21, it will include a substantial presence by Disney Store, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2012 and it’s inviting all the D23 Expo attendees to join in the celebration a bit early with the opportunity to purchase items exclusively available at the Expo.

Scheduled to make their debut at the 2011 Disney D23 Expo, the Disney Store exclusive Princess Designer Collection brings haute couture to the world of Disney Princesses.
