Right now, Disney D23 Expo 2013 is gearing up to be the biggest and best ever. From ‘Turkey in the Straw’ as used in Steamboat Willie to Walt Disney’s Disneyland dedication speech in 1955 to Captain America: The First Avenger, the musical tour, inspired by the more than 500 items from the Walt Disney Archives on display at the museum is sure to induce fond memories for all generations.
Disney D23, the official fan club of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS), is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with the Ronald Reagan Foundation and Library to offer museum tickets in advance for the first time ever. Available beginning June 26 at 8 am PT, tickets can be purchased online at http://www.reaganfoundation.org/tickets for dates beginning July 6 to visit the museum and the Disney Archives exhibition.
Purchasing tickets online will guarantee access to the museum when desired as they are entry time constricted to keep the flow of guests at an enjoyable pace. A limited number of same-day tickets will be available at the museum for those who do not wish to take advantage of the new system.

On Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, D23’s Epcot 30th Anniversary Celebration will whisk D23 Members back to a time touted as when “the 21st century begins”—those early Epcot years when guests first marveled at “Astuter Computers,” “Smellitzers,” and the novelty of “riding on sunshine,” and were awed by a massive geodesic sphere called Spaceship Earth.

The 12,000 square foot exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives is the largest display of Disney props, costumes, artifacts, and artwork ever exhibited. From Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse to Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain America, the exhibit features more than 500 artifacts, at least half of which have never before been seen by the public.
