Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is a hilarious fish-out-of-water tale about a small town Diva and her dog’s mis-adventures in New York City! After a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, Sharpay Evans (AshleyTisdale) sets off for the bright lights of NYC, convinced instant fame and fortune are in the bag (designer, that is). But the theatre is a dog-eat-dog world, as she and Boi discover when they encounter the devious owner of a pampered Pooch named “Countess” and a scheming Broadway starlet who will do anything to crush the competition. Fortunately, Sharpay also meets Peyton (Austin Butler), a handsome student filmmaker who finds Sharpay nearly as fascinating as she finds herself.
In addition, Walt Disney Studios has also offered this extended sneak peek at the film:

Ashley Tisdale Returns as Sharpay Evans in the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure’
The irrepressible diva Sharpay Evans, recent graduate of East High School, seizes the spotlight in “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure,” a Disney Channel Original Movie scheduled to begin production this summer for a 2011 premiere. The incomparable Ashley Tisdale will reprise the role she made so popular in the “High School Musical” TV movies and feature film. Tisdale will also serve as executive producer of the movie which was written by Robert Horn (producer of Broadway’s “13″ and writer/producer of “Designing Women”). Barry Rosenbush and Bill Borden (both of the “High School Musical” movies) will also serve as executive producers of the movie.
In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: “In ‘Sharpay,’ Ashley Tisdale brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters we’ve seen in years. This movie captures the absolutely perfect next chapter in Sharpay’s life, as she tries to cultivate the humanity buried, deep, deep within her – a challenging and hilarious endeavor.”
Aspiring thespian Sharpay Evans, who was once a big, fabulous fish in a small pond (a man-made pond at a resort country club that her father owns), is finally about to meet her destiny on Broadway, and luckily, theater lighting highlights her hair and skin tone beautifully. Her big break comes after a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, and now there’s not a marquee big enough or lights bright enough to contain the glorious fame she plans on having. Sharpay and Boi head to New York, but theatre is a dog eat dog world, and nothing turns out as Sharpay expects, especially when she meets her match in a rather daunting Broadway starlet (who arrived in Midtown Manhattan as a recent winner of “So You Think You’re America’s Most Talented Performing Idol”).
The Great White Way is all Sharpay’s ever dreamed of, especially since she already has everything else. Life in the big city is a shock, but there’s an even bigger bombshell when Sharpay finally realizes the Broadway role is really for Boi, not her. Putting her disappointment aside, she sets out to make Boi the most fabulous canine star to hit the stage, with the hope that his fame will become her fame (after all, she is his entourage and she holds the leash). Before long, Sharpay makes a new friend in a student filmmaker, Callem, who finds her to be a fascinating subject. Meanwhile, Boi finds puppy love on a Big Apple adventure of his own.
Tisdale originated the role of scene-stealing drama queen Sharpay Evans in “High School Musical,” followed by its sequel and feature film. A fan favorite, she won an MTV Movie Award and a Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Awards for her portrayal. She is also the voice of Candace Flynn in the Emmy and BAFTA Award-nominated series “Phineas and Ferb.” Her other credits include “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and the feature film “Aliens in the Attic.” A Warner Bros. Records recording artist, Tisdale’s second solo album, “Guilty Pleasure,” is certified gold-selling.

Ashley Tisdale Volunteers for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Get on the Bus Campaign
“EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION” HELPS A FAMILY WHO MADE ROOM IN THEIR BIG HEARTS AND TINY HOME FOR FOUR MORE KIDS ON ONE HOUR’S NOTICE
On July 14, 2009,”Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” traveled to Green County, Missouri to tell the eight members of the Hampton family – all living in a cramped one-bedroom, one-bath cottage, 792 sq. ft. total – that they’ll have a new home in seven days. The original family of four doubled in size not long ago after a fateful phone call from a social services agency. Chris and Niki Hampton were told they had just one hour to decide if they would take in their four nieces and nephews or let them go to foster care.
Chris and Niki didn’t hesitate to open their hearts and home to young Gage, Kira, Lexi and Jacob, who now range in age from two to eight years old. Squeezing out the space for them, together with eleven-year-old son Dakota and eight-year-old daughter Hannah, has been the real challenge. Currently the three boys share one set of bunk beds in the dining room, and the three girls share another set of bunks in what used to be a utility closet. Since the cottage has no closets, plastic storage bins are stacked floor-to-ceiling in every room. Dinner is served assembly line-style, and everyone sits on the floor except for the youngest children in booster seats.
What the family lacks in comfort and space, they more than make up for in love. The children are incredibly close – literally and figuratively – and Chris and Niki look forward to the day when they move beyond full legal custody of their nieces and nephews to become their adoptive parents. Chris, a land surveyor, basketball and football coach, and president of the Missouri Family Rodeo Association (MFRA), and Niki, a saleswoman and MFRA secretary, also have rescued six horses that live on their five-acre farm along with three dogs.
