Disney Channel’s ‘Camp Rock 2′ Lets Out on Home Video on September 7
Quite a few of our readers scoffed when we announced that Disney Channel’s Original Movie Camp Rock 2: Final Jam would be making its television debut on September 3. Why are Hollywood kids going to camp when the rest of us commoners are already back in school?
An amazing question we have no answer for, yet even more puzzling to us is that if you happen to miss the Disney Channel premiere, you can now simply just take a deep breath and just go out and buy it on DVD because according to Amazon.com, the DVD is set to be released on September 7, just a few days later. Pre-orders are now being accepted for both the Blu-ray/DVD Combo and the DVD

Second Season of Disney Channel’s ‘JONAS’ Gets New Name, New Album; Premieres June 20
New Jonas Brothers music, a new So-Cal setting and a new serialized comedy format mark Season Two of the Teen Choice Award-winning series “JONAS,” newly named “JONAS L.A.,” premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It stars pop culture superstars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. The Jonas Brothers also star in the short-form series “Jonas Brothers Living the Dream 2,” which gives viewers unprecedented access to their lives on stage and off during their European tour, and in the contemporary movie musical, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam,” premiering Friday, September 3 on Disney Channel.
For Season Two, the production has gone stage-less and is produced entirely on location around Los Angeles. New executive producers Lester Lewis (Emmy winner, “The Office”) and Paul Hoen (“Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam”) have joined in on the fun, as “JONAS L.A.” takes each of the three brothers in different directions and brings them back together for a chorus of fun.
The second season of fun delves into individual storylines as Kevin, Joe and Nick – and their security chief, Big Man – are fresh off their world concert tour and ready for a summer vacation in a rental house high atop the Hollywood Hills. As they begin their left coast adventure, two familiar faces, Stella and Macy, join them and wind up sharing a nearby guesthouse with Stella’s aunt Lisa. Now, the five friends take off on a summer of fun, especially after they meet their gregarious neighbor, DZ.
Despite months of anticipation, Joe and Stella encounter detours on the road to “Joella,” mainly since he’s met free-spirited actress Vanessa Page, who’s helping him pursue his acting ambition. After auditioning in a room filled with “Joes,” he lands a role in Vanessa’s new movie, and their mercurial working relationship quickly spurs rumors of “Jonessa.” While on the movie set, Kevin gets his long sought chance to learn film directing, and manages to steer around the abrasive manner of his mentor, famed director Mona Klein. Meanwhile, Nick writes new songs for the band and is pleasantly surprised by his growing friendship with Macy, which makes him want to prove he’s more than just a world famous rock star.
The “JONAS L.A.” episodes showcase music performances and fuse clever comedy with an authentic portrayal of a band of brothers navigating new waters. Recurring guest stars include Debi Mazar, Adam Hicks, Abby Pivaronas and Beth Crosby and fan favorites Rob Feggans and Frankie Jonas.
The all-new 13-song soundtrack includes “L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of),” “Chillin’ in the Summertime” and “Your Biggest Fan.”
“JONAS L.A.” stars Kevin Jonas as Kevin Lucas, Joe Jonas as Joe Lucas, Nick Jonas as Nick Lucas, Chelsea Staub (Disney Channel’s “StarStuck”) as Stella Malone and Nicole Anderson (ABC Family’s “Make It or Break It”) as Macy Misa. Recurring guest stars are Debi Mazar (“Entourage”) as Mona Klein, Adam Hicks (of Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) as DZ, Abby Pivaronas (“Lincoln Heights”) as Vanessa Page, Rob Feggans as Big Man, Frankie Jonas as Frankie Lucas, and Beth Crosby (“All My Children”) as Aunt Lisa.

‘Camp Rock 2: Final Jam’ to Premiere Sept 3; Tour and Album on July 27
It’s On! Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will rock the summer in “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam,” a full out rock ‘n roll musical that celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer and reminds viewers to ‘enjoy the journey.’ Part of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise that introduced a generation to contemporary movie musicals, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” premieres FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It will be ushered in by the biggest summer-long experience ever presented by the channel, the industry leaders in providing world-class content for kids, tweens and families.
This summer of fun opens on a high-pitched Camp Rock reunion. All the Camp Rockers have returned, eager to tune up and rock out. Nobody’s more excited than Mitchie, who anticipates more than a summer of music. Fresh from a world tour, the rock band Connect 3 are hanging all summer – Shane to pursue last summer’s crush on Mitchie, his band mates as moral support. Guitar legend Brown Cesario, Camp Rock’s owner, is ready to rock ‘n roll.
But all is not copasetic at this rocking teen paradise. Across the lake glistens the new Camp Star: a high-tech, big-money music camp funded by Brown’s former band mate-with-a-grudge, Axel Turner. Down-to-earth Camp Rock may have passion, talent and commitment, but Camp Star boasts resources, infrastructure and money – enough money to poach Camp Rock’s counselors and put Camp Rock out of business.
But Axel isn’t counting on a natural born leader named Mitchie, who vows to save her beloved camp and her friends’ summer. Clipboard in hand, she organizes the older Camp Rockers into counselors and keeps the camp running. Then Mitchie steps it up again… by challenging the egocentric Camp Star to a Final Jam – an end-of-summer performance duel, may the best camp win.
