First the show inspired the attraction, then the attraction spawned a contestant and now Disney is invading the stage this week as Miley Cyrus will not only mentor the Billboard #1 hits themed show this week, but she will also perform her song When I Look of You from her upcoming film The Last Song. Also joining Miley on stage during the results show on Wednesday night will be Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato performing their new joint Make a Wave which will be featured in Disneynature’s upcoming release OCEANS.
The new installment of the music-driven reality series “Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream 2,” which gives viewers unprecedented access to worldwide superstars Jonas Brothers’ lives on stage and off, will premiere SUNDAY, MARCH 21 (8:55 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The 11-episode short form series offers a revealing look at Platinum selling rock stars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas as they embark on a 16-city European leg of “Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009.”
“Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream 2? follows Kevin, Joe and Nick on the road during their headline tour across Europe, with stops in France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and England.
“Make A Wave,” an inspirational duet by Hollywood Records recording artists and Disney Channel stars Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, recorded for Disney’s Friends for Change: Project Green and to be featured in the upcoming Disneynature film “OCEANS,” was unveiled yesterday in an exclusive performance during the “Celebrate Family Volunteers” event at Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The anthem will debut February 26 on Radio Disney, while the music video will have its world premiere on Disney Channel March 14 and launch online the following day at Disney.com. “Make A Wave” will be available beginning March 15 on iTunes, with all proceeds benefiting environmental charities through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF). ”OCEANS” hits theaters April 22, 2010 (Earth Day).
From now through January 12 at 12 PM ET, children aged 16 and under can enter to win a 4 day/3 night Walt Disney World vacation for four to attend the special ‘Celebration of Volunteerism’ event to be held at Epcot on February 11 and includes performances by Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

It appears that the oft-well-kept secret of who will be performing for the taped annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade has been released and the news isn’t good for fans of the Jonas Brothers who were the frontrunners in the rumor mill.
Even the Disneyland portion, which tapes first (and already has, earlier this month), seemed to be a big surprise as reporters scrambled to try to get a hint as to who might show.
Disney Media Sales and Marketing and Xbox 360 have teamed with pop culture powerhouse the Jonas Brothers to star in a national campaign for Xbox 360 called “It’s More Fun Time.” The campaign is seen across multiple Disney platforms including Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Kids, Disney Online and Family.com’s “Get Plugged In” video portal, which provides families with information on internet safety for kids.

Two new Nintendo DS™ titles from Disney Interactive Studios will make those experiences come to life. Available today in retail stores nationwide is JONAS for DS, while Sonny with a Chance is currently being developed for release in spring 2010.

JONAS for DS is inspired by the Disney Channel Original Series starring the Jonas Brothers, whose characters juggle everyday school and family life as it collides with the pop star world. The game lets fans play as three of the hottest rock stars on the planet, Nick, Joe and Kevin Lucas. Players help the band, JONAS, tear up the stage in six concerts, hang out with friends Macy and Stella, and visit locations such as the brothers’ firehouse and school as seen on the TV show.
JONAS also features popular tunes sung by the Jonas Brothers on the show, including “Live to Party,” “Keep It Real” and “Why,” which players can jam to in performance mode. In addition, players can customize the brothers’ outfits for cool looks in school and in performance mode. In story mode, players collect musical notes to power up their guitars and then strike the right guitar chords to overcome obstacles.
Disney Channel has picked up Season Two of the hit comedy series “JONAS,” starring the multi-platinum recording artists Jonas Brothers plus popular actresses Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. Two new and notable producers, Lester Lewis (“The Office,” “The Larry Sanders Show”) and Paul Hoen (director and co-producer of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” DGA Award-winning director of “Jump In!,” and “The Cheetah Girls One World,” among others), have been named executive producers of the series. Season two of “JONAS” is scheduled to begin production in Hollywood in February for debut in mid-2010 on Disney Channel, DisneyChannel.com, mobile and VOD platforms. This month, while on the European leg of their hugely successful Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 (produced by Live Nation), Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas also began production on Season Two of their popular short-form reality series, “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream,” for premiere in early 2010. It will be followed by the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” in summer.
