In honor of the fourth and final series of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana in which Hannah (aka Miley Stewart as played by Miley Cyrus) hangs up her wig for good, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will be releasing Hannah Montana Forever: Who is Hannah Montana? on DVD November 2, 2010.
Leading up to the worldwide release of her latest CD, “Can’t Be Tamed,” the internationally renowned and multi-platinum selling Miley Cyrus will appear in the one-hour special, “Miley Cyrus: Live from London,” FRIDAY, JUNE 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The concert was filmed at the famed O2 Arena in London during her sold-out worldwide tour and contains excerpts from her live show. The program captures how Miley, who has grown up in the public eye, has grown as an artist, and reveals her natural progression and sophistication. The concert is gleaned from the full-length concert that will be available for sale June 22 on the deluxe version of Miley’s album.
On TUESDAY, MAY 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” multiplatinum recording artist and actress Miley Cyrus will perform the live television debut of her new hit single, “Can’t Be Tamed,” from her upcoming album releasing June 22 on Hollywood Records. After a bit of an oops! in which Hollywood Records had its own video suspended for copyright violation, they managed to reveal the new Miley Cyrus single Can’t Be Tamed off the album of the same title which hits the shelves on June 22.
In lieu of an actual music video, the YouTube offers up a photo of Miley along with the lyrics from the song sync’d to the music.

Also joining Miley on stage during the results show on Wednesday night will be Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato performing their new joint Make a Wave which will be featured in Disneynature’s upcoming release OCEANS.
Production begins Monday in Hollywood on the fourth season of the global sensation “Hannah Montana,” one filled with exciting, pivotal story arcs and event episodes. The hit series’ finale episode will air in spring 2011 on Disney Channel U.S. and, shortly thereafter, on Disney Channels around the world, where the total of 101 episodes will continue in daily encore telecasts. Starring Miley Cyrus in the title role, the Emmy-nominated comedy has dominated the kid and tween business and impacted popular culture since its 2006 debut. Its soundtracks are among the biggest, fastest successes the pop charts have seen in years, and the series provided a springboard for the multitalented Cyrus to become an international superstar with projects spanning Disney’s television, music, radio, consumer products and film divisions, including a #1 debut movie that grossed nearly $150 million at the global box office.
It’ll be another 20 years before we’ll learn if she’ll be eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but today we have learned what has long been suspected – Hannah Montana is calling it quits.
The New York Post reports confirmation from Disney that the next season, which begins taping later this month and will debut in the fall of 2010, will be the last for the show that brought a whole new life to the Disney Channel. The report outlines the final season as paralleling the lives of Miley Cyrus and character Miley Stewart as they each grapple with leaving behind the personas that have propelled them both to fame. The one hour season 3 finale, titled ‘Is Miley Saying Goodbye?’ will air in Mid-March and will reveal what Miley Stewart’s intentions are for her final year.
Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Notebook”) latest novel, THE LAST SONG is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (GREG KINNEAR) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (MILEY CYRUS), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. The film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson from a screenplay by Sparks & Jeff Van Wie.
