The clip, from the bonus feature titled ‘The Cast as Good as Gold’ features Meryl Streep, James Corden and Anna Kendrick discussing working on the film.

WATCH: ‘Into The Woods’ Deleted Song ‘She’ll Be Back’ Clip Performed by Meryl Streep

Into the Woods on Blu-rayWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a new clip from one of the bonus features for the Blu-ray and digital release of Into the Woods, available to own on March 24, 2015 (now available for pre-order). The clip features Meryl Streep as The Witch performing ‘She’ll Be Back,’ an original song written by Stephen Sondheim for the film. In the song, The Witch laments Rapunzel’s decision to leave her and run off with the prince, but she is convinced Rapunzel will return once she comes to her senses. As we detail below, the full length of the bonus feature/song (which also features an introduction by director Rob Marshall) is just over 4 1/2 minutes long.

Into the Woods on Blu-rayWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a new promotional video for the Blu-ray and digital release of Into the Woods, available to own on March 24, 2015 (now available for pre-order). Although the bulk of the ad isn’t anything to particularly crow about, it does feature a snippet (read: one bar) of Meryl Streep as The Witch, performing ‘She’ll Be Back’ (‘when she knows who to trust’), an original song written by Stephen Sondheim for the film.

CONFIRMED: ‘Into The Woods’ on Blu-ray in March

Into the Woods on Blu-rayWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has confirmed our previous reports for both a release date as well as bonus features for Into the Woods on Blu-ray and DVD on March 24, 2015 (now available for pre-order).

  • Streep Sings Sondheim – ‘She’ll Be Back’ (4:35) – Meryl Streep performs a compelling new song that sheds a little more light on the Witch’s relationship with Rapunzel. This never-before- seen composition was penned especially for this movie by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, and is seen here exclusively on Blu-ray and EHV.  With introduction by Director Rob Marshall.

WATCH: ‘Aladdin Diamond Edition’ Blu-ray Trailer; Available October 6

Aladdin Blu-ray (UK)Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today confirmed an October 6, 2015 release date for ‘Aladdin Diamond Edition’ on Blu-ray. The announcement trailer (sans date) can be found embedded below.

While it’s still too early for any announcements regarding bonus materials, Disney’s Diamond Editions generally include brand new bonus features in addition to classic features from previous releases.

As usual, we will provide more information as it becomes available to us.

‘Into the Woods’ Blu-ray Bonus Features Complete List

'Into the Woods' Theatrical PosterAhead of any official announcement, the British Board of Film Classification has enumerated the bonus features we can expect to see on Into the Woods when it hits Blu-ray and DVD, although to those following news closely, there won’t be too many surprises, just a few new details. Amazon had begun listing Into the Woods with a release date of March 24, 2015 on Blu-ray and DVD, but has since backed off that date. An official announcement from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has yet to be made regarding the release.

WATCH: ‘Big Hero 6′ Easter Eggs #2: ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ and Hidden Mickeys

'Big Hero 6' Blu-rayJust ahead of tomorrow’s digital release for Big Hero 6, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a second clip from the ‘Big Hero Secrets (Easter Egg) bonus feature. While the first focused on Frozen, the new clip — which you can find embedded below — focuses on Wreck-It Ralph and classic Hidden Mickeys. As it turns out, Hiro is a big fan of ‘Hero’s Duty.’The hit animated film will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD on February 24, 2015 (available now for pre-order). In addition, it will enjoy an early release on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on February 3, 2015.
