Last night, Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios quietly held the red carpet world premiere of Marvel’s The Avengers at Disney’s El Captain Theatre in Hollywood. Fans who attended the event got ‘the best of both worlds’ as Marvel’s cast, crew and executives mingled on the red carpet with many of the young stars from Disney Channel amongst many other celebrities.
Walt Disney Studios has provided us with several photos of the stars’ arrivals on the red carpet last night, which we are pleased to share with you in the gallery below. J.K. Simmons reprises his role as Professor Nathaniel Burke, taking agents at the University of Farmers under his tutelage as he teaches them the fine art of being ‘superheroes of insurance.’ In the 30 second spot, titled ‘Suit Up,’ Professor Burke and the agents explore the similarities between being a Super Hero and being a super agent. The spot continues with a lighthearted exchange between Professor Burke and his agents, dressed in do-it-yourself costumes representing each of Marvel’s The Avengers’ characters: The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye.True fact: Tony Stark used a countless number of staples when creating the Iron Man suit.
Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios recently provided us with production notes for their upcoming release, Marvel’s The Avengers. In addition to plenty of information on the actual production of the film, the document was filled with images, many of which we do not recall seeing before (apologies in advance for any not so new stills). Unfortunately the images themselves are a bit small, but the amount of eye candy produced is still pretty huge.
The stills pretty much cover all of The Avengers, highlighting Hulk and Tony Stark / Iron Man but also give us some nice images of Loki as well as the hardware behind the crimefighting squad, namely the Quinjet and the Helicarrier, both inside as well as out.
We have managed to come across a new 30 second television spot for Marvel’s The Avengers titled ‘Isolated.’ The ad features Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) talking about how each of the heroes are ‘isolated’ and ‘unbalanced,’ but when combined, ‘can become something more.’ It then quickly cuts to the group assembling for the first time, much to the apparent dismay of billionaire philanthropist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).
In honor of Marvel’s The Avengers, Dr Pepper has announced it has released a limited edition series of collectible cans, each featuring one of the Avengers as well as Loki. When assembled, the cans form a larger image of the iconic superhero team.

Now affiliated with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D, Captain America 2 will continue where the last film left off as Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.
Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have also provided us with this new hi-res image from The Avengers featuring Evans in his role. Captain America will next be seen alongside his fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. colleagues in Marvel’s The Avengers, debuting in theaters on May 4, 2012.
As the Pacific clock struck midnight last night, Marvel Studios released this new clip from its upcoming film The Avengers in which Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) needs to cut her interrogation short due to an incoming phone call from Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). Given that she’s the subject f the interrogation, Black Widow makes an exit that only she can manage to pull off delicately.
