Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today announced that the complete fourth season of the ABC hit ‘Once Upon A Time’ will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD on August 18, 2015 (now available for pre-order).
Earlier today, Disney D23 made announcements on behalf of Walt Disney Animation Studios for their panels and presentations at the upcoming D23 Expo. Included with the release were several images for upcoming projects, including one for Moana (November 23, 2016). What we unfortunately didn’t realize at first was that the accompanying artwork — while similar to the original concept art released for the film — has been updated with much finer detail with the lead characters, who have been repositioned on the boat. In addition, the artwork displayed on the sails has also been updated. An image showing comparisons between the two is included below.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has confirmed our earlier report that Disneynature’s newest release, Monkey Kingdom, will be available to own on Blu-ray combo pack, Disney Movies Anywhere and Digital HD on September 15, 2015. In addition, they have announced that for every digital and Blu-ray combo pack sold during the first week of sales, Disneynature will make a donation to Conservation International to help product endangered species in their natural habitat by supporting conservation projects across Indonesia, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today announced that the live-action reboot of Cinderella will be available to own on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on September 15, 2015. Bonus features will include the Frozen Fever short as well as more than twelve minutes of deleted scenes, including the alternate opening titled ‘Ella’s Childhood’ which we have previously reported. In addition, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a clip from from the alternate opening, which you can find embedded below. Walt Disney Records will release the soundtrack for Disney’s ‘Descendants’ on Friday, July 31, the day the eagerly-anticipated movie premieres on Disney Channel. The soundtrack pre-order is available now on Amazon. It features the single ‘Believe,’ performed and written by 16 year-old recording artist Shawn Mendes and original songs performed by the ‘Descendants’ cast plus bonus tracks and a score suite.
Beginning Tuesday, June 16, Shawn Mendes’ ‘Believe’ single will be available as a song purchase or free with the purchase of the ‘Descendants’ soundtrack at select digital retailers. The song will premiere in the U.S. and Canada, Monday, June 15 on Radio Disney at 7 pm ET /4 pm PT.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment may be keeping us all in suspense as to when they will finally announce the Blu-ray release of its live-action Cinderella and which bonus features will be included, but fortunately Walt Disney Studios Australia (who released the film two weeks after the United States) has not already targeted for a June 24 release, but has begun releasing several short snippets from the bonus features — most of which we previously mentioned here — all of which you can find embedded below.
