Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book (April 15, 2016) is sure to be so jam-packed, it clearly couldn’t call for anything more — except, perhaps, more cowbell. Although given this is an animal driven movie, maybe just more cows playing the bells.

According to promotional materials obtained by Stitch Kingdom, Disney Television Animation’s Tangled spin-off series, ‘Tangled Before Ever After,’ is set to premiere in February 2017. Actually, a ‘tentpole’ event (likely an extended episode/movie) is slated to premiere in February while the series itself is planned for a June 2017 start. Granted it’s still early and this has not been officially announced, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.
What is official, however, is word from executive producer Chris Sonnenburg has created his own Tumblr account since the most recent casting announcement and promises to not only acknowledge how Rapunzel reclaimed her long hair in the series, but has plans to actually explain it.

This heroic action-thriller is based on the extraordinary true story of the greatest small-boat rescue in Coast Guard history. In 1952, a massive winter storm strikes off the coast of Cape Cod, ripping a T-2 oil tanker in half and trapping more than 30 sailors inside its rapidly sinking stern. When word of the disaster reaches the U.S. Coast Guard, four men led by Captain Bernie Webber (Chris Pine) set out in a 12-seat boat on a daring mission to rescue the stranded men, braving freezing cold, 60-foot waves and hurricane-force winds, and guided by Webber’s vow that ‘We all live, or we all die.’ Packed with thrilling, larger-than-life action and anchored in a belief in the strength of the human spirit, The Finest Hours is a triumph.
