Last month, we told you about a limited edition bundle for Big Hero 6 which combines the Big Hero 6 soundtrack on CD (which is already available separately later this month — the digital release is already available), a 7″ vinyl single of Fall Out Boy’s ‘Immortals’ sporting the face of Baymax and an exclusive poster.
In addition to news on Toy Story 4 and the mysterious Strange Magic, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm also caused a near meltdown today when they casually announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015) had completed principal photography (and oh! it has a subtitle too, we guess).
To commemorate the neo-historic event, a title treatment for the film was also revealed. Through a few mindtricks of our own, we managed to get our hands on an ultra high res version of the title treatment (20+ megapixels in fact) and are presenting it here to you in its full glory. Fortunately most of it is space and as it turns out, space compresses pretty well, so we didn’t have to reduce it to get it here.
Disney’s Big Hero 6 arrives into theaters tomorrow, November 7, so what better way to spend Big Hero 6-eve with a new official installment of ‘Fun Facts’ direct from Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios? Below is the list of fresh fun facts, some of which you may know already, but hopefully we’ll all learn something new. So read on!

Slated for a June 16, 2017 release, Disney Chairman and CEO Robert I get today announced that ‘Toy Story 4′ is currently under development and is being directed by John Lasseter. The announcement was made during a press call discussing The Walt Disney Company’s fiscal year.
In addition, Iger noted that the troubled Pixar film, ‘The Good Dinosaur’ will be released in 2016. UPDATE: Pixar has confirmed the date has not changed.
As ‘Awards Season’ approaches, studios are once again beginning to assemble their ‘For Your Consideration’ websites and so it is with Walt Disney Studios who recently made its site public once again, revamped for the 2014-15 movie season. This time around, Walt Disney Studios appears to be pushing just Big Hero 6 and Into the Woods as well as shorts Feast and Lava (which presumably Disney would love to attach an Oscar to prior to the theatrical release of Pixar’s Inside Out).

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today announced that the immortal Disney animated classic, 101 Dalmatians, will be available to own on Diamond Edition Blu-ray combo pack, Disney Movies Anywhere and On Demand on February 10, 2015. As with all Diamond Editions, the release will include brand new never-before-seen bonus features including an all new short, ‘The Further Adventures of Thunderbolt.’ Now available for pre-order.

Walt Disney Studios and Disney Animation Studios have launched a new micro-site in support of Big Hero 6 (Nov 7, 2014), titled ‘Baymax Hero Lab.’ Via a series of questions and fun interactive activities such as a Big Hero 6-themed memory game and plugging the leaks in Baymax, the site aims to give you a super hero identity along with identifying your super power and teaming you up with one of the Big Hero 6 team members.
Walt Disney Studios has provided us with several new high resolution stills from the upcoming musical film, Into the Woods (December 25, 2014). The new stills, which feature Johnny Depp as the Big Bad Wolf and Christine Baranski, Lucy Punch and Tammy Blanchard in the roles of Cinderella’s Stepmother and ugly stepsisters Lucinda and Florinda respectively, have been added to the beginning of our existing gallery below.
