Following its presentation at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios have provided us with new title treatments and concept art for several of their upcoming projects including: Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014) and Avengers 2: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015).
Actress Britt Robertson (Under the Dome, Delivery Man) has been cast in a lead role in Disney’s TOMORROWLAND.
In the film, a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology is launched on a journey to reclaim her future.
The film, in theaters December 12, 2014, is being directed by Brad Bird, produced by Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, and written by Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird and Jeff Jenson.
Robertson joins a cast that already includes George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson.
In honor of the Blu-ray release of Iron Man 3, available to own on September 24 with digital download on September 9, 2013, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Marvel Studios have provided us with hi-res versions of stills from the bonus feature, the ‘Marvel One Short: Agent Carter’ film, along with its promotional poster. The fourth entry into the ‘Marvel One Shot’ series, ‘Agent Carter’ features Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger. The film takes place after the events of The First Avenger and offers the latest expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The short will see its premiere at San Diego Comic-con later this week.

With thanks to a couple of recent entries from the British Board of Film Classification (the rich man’s MPAA), we now have additional details regarding the bonus features for the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray which will be available to own on September 24 with HD Digital Download available beginning September 9.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today confirmed our earlier report that the ‘Phineas and Ferb’/Marvel crossover special, ‘Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel‘ will be released on DVD on October 1, 2013 and is now available for pre-order. In addition, they have provided us with several stills from the episode, which have been made into a gallery below.
After Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest ‘-inator’ scheme accidentally removes the powers of some very well-known Marvel Super Heroes (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk), the heroes enter the world of Danville and team up with Phineas and Ferb to relocate their powers, defeat the Marvel Super Villains (Red Skull, MODOK, Whiplash and Venom) – who have also shown up to steal Doofenshmirtz’s power-draining technology – and save Danville from ultimate destruction!

Walt Disney Studios has just released its first official trailer for Saving Mr. Banks, the account of Walt Disney’s twenty-year pursuit of the film rights to P.L. Travers’ popular novel, Mary Poppins, and the testy partnership the upbeat filmmaker develops with the uptight author during the project’s pre-production in 1961. You can watch it embedded below.
