Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released an extended six minute clip from the upcoming Pixie Hollow film, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (March 3, 2015), which is now available for pre-order. The clip features Fawn introducing Gruff to her friends and an encounter with Scout Fairy Nyx who shares her own recent discovery with Fawn and Queen Clarion.
Given that Swarovski not only designed the iconic glass slippers — featuring a 6 inch heel and 221 facets in a light-reflecting Crystal Blue Aurora Borealis coating — for Disney’s upcoming live-action Cinderella (March 13, 2015), but also provided over 1.7 million crystals for use on Cinderella’s ball gown, the Fairy Godmother’s gown and magic wand, and the wicked stepmother’s dress, plus provided access to its jewelry archives for the film’s ballroom scene, it was probably a no-brainer that when it came to choosing the subject for the limited edition Disney collectible for 2015, it would be in honor of the film.
Walt Disney Studios has released a new featurette for Cinderella (March 13, 2015) titled ‘Legacy,’ which you can find embedded below. The feaurette features director Kenneth Branagh and several of the main cast including Lily James, Cate Blanchett and Helene Bonham-Carter as they discuss the parallels between the new live-action film and the 1950 animated original.

Walt Disney Studios has announced via a teaser video (embedded below) that shortly before midnight ET on New Year’s Eve 2014, it will be sharing a brand new exclusive look at its upcoming film Cinderella (March 13, 2015), the live-action adaptation of the classic Disney animated film. The sneak peek will air during ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve’ on the ABC television network.
Disney Parks is also sharing in the Cinderella celebration as part of the #Midnight campaign. Visitors to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World today are receiving a button featuring the film and we are also told displays — complete with video screens — promoting the film are flanking Cinderella castle.
Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel — all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.
Walt Disney Studios has released the second trailer for McFarland, USA (February 20, 2015), which you can find embedded below. The new tailer features an introduction by Latin recording artist Juanes, who also supplied the end title track featured in the trailer. While the introduction is in Spanish, the trailer itself is in English.
Walt Disney Studios has released a new clips from its upcoming musical adaptation, Into the Woods (December 25, 2014), which you can find embedded below. In the clip, titled ‘To Grandmother’s House,’ Little Red (Lilla Crawford) pays the Baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) a visit to stock up on some goodies for her grandmother and — well, herself. The entire clip is a portion of the film’s ‘Prologue’ track.
Strange Magic, a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd., is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. Lucasfilm Animation Singapore and Industrial Light & Magic bring to life the fanciful forest turned upside down with world-class animation and visual effects. Directed by Gary Rydstrom from a story by George Lucas, Strange Magic will be released by Touchstone Pictures on January 23, 2015.
In the first clip, titled ‘Five Pounds,’ Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) is goaded by his mother (Tracey Ullman) to take his best friend and family cow, Milky White, to market to sell. It also features a bit of them singing their part of the film’s ‘Prologue.’
In the second clip, titled ‘Something In Between,’ Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) and her Prince (Chris Pine) cross each other’s paths in the Woods, where she confronts him about his extramarital affairs with another character he met in the Woods. In the clip, the Prince utters his infamous quip, ‘I was raised to be charming, not sincere.’
