“Jonas Day,” a programming event dedicated to the multi-platinum recording artists and TV stars the Jonas Brothers, will be presented TUESDAY, JUNE 16 (10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Included are three one-hour blocks (six episodes) of “JONAS,” the #1 scripted program on all of TV among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 for the month of May, plus music videos, a sneak peek at Jonas Brothers’ upcoming concert tour, and their Friday, June 12 performance of “Poison Ivy” and “Paranoid” on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Disney Channels Worldwide has ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated hit series “Phineas and Ferb” for its Disney XD and Disney Channel platforms. Created and executive-produced by Dan Povenmire (“Family Guy”) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“The Simpsons” and “Rocko’s Modern Life”) and featuring a notable voice cast, the series is a production of Walt Disney Television Animation.
In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: “’Phineas and Ferb’ is the simplest of ideas – two brothers determined to do something unique, something outrageous every single day of their 104 days of summer vacation — and Dan and Swampy have executed it with brilliant comedic flair.”
BRISBANE, Calif., June 9 — Walmart today unveiled a new, exclusive Jonas Brothers concert and special behind-the-scenes interviews with the band that can only be seen online at Walmart.com. The private concert was filmed in Hollywood last month and features never-before-seen footage of the band’s first live performance of songs from their upcoming album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, scheduled for release in all nationwide stores and online on June 16. Starting today, Walmart.com allows Jonas fans to watch Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas sing songs from and talk about making their new, highly anticipated album.

On Tuesday, June 9, Disney Theatrical will make a compilation of 19 tracks from the original cast recordings of all of its Broadway shows from the past fifteen years. That’s music from Beauty and the Beast, Aida, the Lion King, Tarzan, Mary Poppins and the Little Mermaid.
In addition, iTunes will have exclusive bonuses available such as a previously unreleased version of ‘Feed the Birds’ as performed by Ashley Brown, who originated the role of Mary Poppins. iTunes will also offer a video clip of a performance of ‘Step in Time’ from the show itself.
BENTONVILLE, Ark., June 3 — Walmart today announced the introduction of Miley Cyrus & Max Azria, a new clothing line available only at Walmart. Walmart brings together best-selling artist and entertainer Miley Cyrus and Max Azria of apparel house BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, Inc. to offer customers affordable and trend-right apparel. The line will arrive in all Walmart stores and on Walmart.com in early August, and includes tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes and accessories, all priced less than $20.
“Our launch of the Miley Cyrus & Max Azria line continues our strategy of engaging customers across categories,” said John Fleming, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. “This time, we’re bringing together a leading entertainer and a top apparel house to bring exciting product and price leadership to our customers.”
Miley Cyrus’ rock-and-roll roots influenced many of the looks. There’s even more to come!”

The Jonas Brothers’ music video for their newly released single, “Paranoid,” debuts SATURDAY, MAY 23 (7:55 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The video was directed by Brendan Malloy and Tim Wheeler, who also directed the music video for their smash hit single, “Burnin’ Up.” Jonas Brothers will host a behind the scenes look at the making of the “Paranoid” music video Sunday, May 31 (6:00 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Mitchel Musso, star of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” will be a special guest on Radio Disney, the #1 radio network for kids and families, on FRIDAY, MAY 15 (6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT). Musso will speak to Radio Disney on-air personality Ernie D. about his music, tour plans and his role as Oliver Oken on the hit series “Hannah Montana.” Following the interview, Radio Disney will world premiere “Hey,” the second single off Musso’s self-titled Walt Disney Records debut album, due in stores June 2, 2009. The JoBros will be performing for the show on June 12. Fans interested in attending the performance are asked to arrive at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield via the 69th street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6:00 a.m., when the park opens to the public.
