Burbank, July 15, 2009 … Radio Disney will present the world premiere of Demi Lovato’s new album, “Here We Go Again,” on SATURDAY, JULY 18 (7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT) during Radio Disney’s Planet Premiere, a regular feature presentation from the authority on the music kids love and parents trust. The album will be replayed on SUNDAY, JULY 19 (12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT) and can be streamed and listened to online at RadioDisney.com from SATURDAY, JULY 18 through FRIDAY, JULY 24.
ABC will exclusively debut international superstar Shakira’s first single, “She-Wolf,” from her upcoming album on Epic Records, in the ABC Music Lounge. The song will be available to download for free at www.abcmusiclounge.com starting Sunday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m., ET/4:00 p.m., PT, until Monday, July 13, at midnight, ET/9:00 p.m., PT.
Shakira wrote and produced “She-Wolf” with John Hill (Santogold). The full album (title to be announced) is due out in October 2009.

BURBANK, Calif., June 24 — Jonas Brothers’ Lines, Vines and Trying Times debuts at # 1 on the Billboard Top 200 today, selling nearly 250,000 units, a mere ten months after their third studio album A Little Bit Longer debuted at the top of the charts. Jonas Brothers are the only act to have two # 1 debuts within a ten month period; only Jay-Z came close with two # 1 debuts twelve months apart in December 2006 and December 2007. Their triumphant return to the # 1 slot is one of 2009’s top debuts, and follows the kick off of their Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 this weekend at the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas in front of nearly 50,000 fans. The tour opened to rave reviews and decibel busting cheers for Jonas Brothers’ “in the round” concert.

Disney Channels Worldwide has ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated hit series “Phineas and Ferb” for its Disney XD and Disney Channel platforms. Created and executive-produced by Dan Povenmire (“Family Guy”) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“The Simpsons” and “Rocko’s Modern Life”) and featuring a notable voice cast, the series is a production of Walt Disney Television Animation.
In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: “’Phineas and Ferb’ is the simplest of ideas – two brothers determined to do something unique, something outrageous every single day of their 104 days of summer vacation — and Dan and Swampy have executed it with brilliant comedic flair.”
BRISBANE, Calif., June 9 — Walmart today unveiled a new, exclusive Jonas Brothers concert and special behind-the-scenes interviews with the band that can only be seen online at Walmart.com. The private concert was filmed in Hollywood last month and features never-before-seen footage of the band’s first live performance of songs from their upcoming album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, scheduled for release in all nationwide stores and online on June 16. Starting today, Walmart.com allows Jonas fans to watch Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas sing songs from and talk about making their new, highly anticipated album.

On Tuesday, June 9, Disney Theatrical will make a compilation of 19 tracks from the original cast recordings of all of its Broadway shows from the past fifteen years. That’s music from Beauty and the Beast, Aida, the Lion King, Tarzan, Mary Poppins and the Little Mermaid.
In addition, iTunes will have exclusive bonuses available such as a previously unreleased version of ‘Feed the Birds’ as performed by Ashley Brown, who originated the role of Mary Poppins. iTunes will also offer a video clip of a performance of ‘Step in Time’ from the show itself.
BENTONVILLE, Ark., June 3 — Walmart today announced the introduction of Miley Cyrus & Max Azria, a new clothing line available only at Walmart. Walmart brings together best-selling artist and entertainer Miley Cyrus and Max Azria of apparel house BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, Inc. to offer customers affordable and trend-right apparel. The line will arrive in all Walmart stores and on Walmart.com in early August, and includes tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes and accessories, all priced less than $20.
“Our launch of the Miley Cyrus & Max Azria line continues our strategy of engaging customers across categories,” said John Fleming, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. “This time, we’re bringing together a leading entertainer and a top apparel house to bring exciting product and price leadership to our customers.”
