If you have your DVR set to record the ‘Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade,’ you may want to take a few minutes to reprogram it. ABC has confirmed what has already been reported at both the Walt Disney World Resort via it’s Very Merry Christmas Party map and the Disneyland Resort — which is filming its half today — that the annual holiday program will in fact be dubbed the ‘Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration.’ The official program description is as follows:
ABC announces premiere dates for two of its highly anticipated new midseason shows – “Galavant,” a comedy extravaganza and “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” the second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel, inspired by the feature films “Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” along with the short “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.” “Galavant” will premiere on SUNDAY, JANUARY 4 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) and will run two episodes in the one-hour block each week, and “Marvel’s Agent Carter” premieres on TUESDAY, JANUARY 6 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET).
Featuring music by Kevin Kiner from all six seasons of the animated series, ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars,’ the official soundtrack will make its official digital debut on November 10, 2014 (or at least it’s expected as much, as per the new listing on Amazon). In addition, a special vinyl edition of the soundtrack from the first season is slated for a December 9, 2014 release. Although no official details have been released as of yet, we have reason to believe there will be a downloadable component to the soundtrack for those that do purchase the vinyl edition.
Season four of ABC’s fairytale drama ‘Once Upon A Time’ has been boasting the tagline ‘Once has been Frozen‘ as it already introduced several mainstays from the popular Disney animated film – Elsa (Georgina Haig), Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster), Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore) — and even Sven.
From the producers of the Emmy-winning reality series, “Shark Tank,” comes the launch of a new companion series for ABC, “Beyond the Tank.” The ten one-hour episodes from Sony Pictures Television and United Artists Media Group will explore the opportunities and challenges that come after striking a deal on “Shark Tank.” The series will air on ABC.
Audiences familiar with the compelling ups and downs of the negotiations will be further engaged in the drama that takes place after the entrepreneurs’ appearance on “Shark Tank.” What lies in the aftermath of their investment? Did a promising deal turn sour or launch a million dollar profit margin? After closer inspection of the business, did the Sharks or the entrepreneur back out of the deal?
Echoing news we broke on Twitter last week, ABC Television has announced it will air a new Marvel-themed special, ‘Marvel: Pulp to Pop’ on Tuesday, November 4 at 9:00 pm ET/PT. Allowing viewers to experience an exciting journey through the 75 year history of the Marvel Universe, from its humble beginnings as Timely Comics in 1939 to the birth of The Marvel Age in the 1960s, and finally the cinematic blockbusters of today the special will be hosted by Marvel’s own Agent 13, Emily VanCamp, who also stars in the ABC Studios drama, ‘Revenge.’
Production has begun on ‘Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy,’ an upcoming animated-television series for Disney XD, featuring the hugely popular characters introduced in the record-breaking Marvel Studios film of the same name. The announcement was made today by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television, at New York Comic-Con. Produced by Marvel Television, the series stars Peter Quill as Star-Lord, the brash adventurer who, to save the universe from its greatest threats, joins forces with a quartet of disparate misfits – fan-favorite Rocket Raccoon, a tree-like humanoid named Groot, the enigmatic, expert fighter Gamora and the rough-edged warrior Drax the Destroyer. The series will premiere in 2015 on the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD.
Popular Disney sitcom star Bradley Steven Perry (“Mighty Med,” “Good Luck Charlie”), Joshua J. Ballard (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”) and Disney XD-favorite Tyrel Jackson Williams (“Lab Rats”) star in the comedic adventure “Pants on Fire,” an original movie premiering SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9 on Disney XD in the U.S. (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) and Canada (7:00 p.m., ET/4:00 p.m., PT).
Ahead of any official announcements, Amazon has begun listing the sixth and final season of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ — dubbed ‘The Lost Missions’ — on Blu-ray and DVD with a release date of November 11, 2014 (now available for pre-order).
The final installment in the animated series finished on Netflix after having run on Cartoon Network for the first five seasons. It is also currently available on iTunes.
