Paul Lee, President, ABC Entertainment Group, will unveil the network’s new lineup to the advertising and media communities this afternoon at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall.

They’re all on the hunt for the new Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock, when the ninth edition of the female version of ABC’s popular romance reality series, “The Bachelorette,” premieres on Monday, May 27 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

It’s just seven seconds long, but it now looks like the series, which was hopefully offered as a 2013-2014 candidate by ABC’s Paul Lee at the television industry’s upfronts last year is soon headed to the small screen via a mystery writer. The Upfronts is an annual event in which networks traditionally invite advertisers and dazzle them with celebrities and sneak peeks at upcoming fall programming — ABC’s 2013 Upfronts will take place on May 14.
Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq:NFLX) and The Disney/ABC Television Group (NYSE:DIS) today announced a new multi-year licensing agreement that will make Netflix the exclusive U.S. subscription television service for one of the most popular shows on Disney Junior, ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates,’ as well as fan favorite Disney XD show ‘Tron: Uprising.’ In addition, ‘Handy Manny,’ ‘Special Agent Oso’ and ‘JoJo’s Circus’ will also be available for members in the U.S. to watch instantly later this month.

They’re all putting their investigative skills to the test along with nine other guests in the new murder mystery competition, “Whodunnit?,” premiering Sunday, June 23 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.
ABC Family has greenlit the original one-hour drama series ‘Ravenswood,’ a spin-off of their number one- rated series ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ ‘Pretty Little Liars’ has also been picked up for a fifth season it was announced today by Michael Riley, President ABC Family. Both series will be produced by Warner Horizon Television.
From ‘Pretty Little Liars’ executive producers I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein, ‘Ravenswood’ will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of ‘Pretty Little Liars’), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them. The series will premiere on ABC Family following the annual “Pretty Little Liars” special Halloween episode in October 2013.
Disney Channel has provided us with these first look images at the fourth season premiere of ‘Good Luck Charlie’ featuring an appearance by the Muppets. In the episode, titled ‘Duncan Dream House,’ the Duncan Family decides to build their dream house after the family home is devastated by termites. Everyone, with the exception of Charlie, is excited at the prospect of a new and larger home. However, Teddy has a change of heart after a dream in which Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal convince her that the old family home is really the house of her dreams.
In the Disney Channel original movie, Teen Beach Movie, teen surfers McKenzie and Brady are magically transported into a 1960’s beach movie. They figure they just need to blend in until they can find a way to get back home. However, blending isn’t easily done when everyone around them routinely breaks into song and dance seemingly for no reason. And when they accidentally interfere with the plot of the movie and make the romantic leads Tanner and Lela fall for them instead, it looks like they might be stuck for good.
ABC announced its summer lineup, with two new series joining the schedule, the innovative procedural “Motive,” which will have a special debut following the finale of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” on Tuesday, May 21, before moving to its regular time period on Thursday, May 23 at 9:00 p.m.; and “Whodunnit?,” a new mystery reality competition show from Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator of the “CSI” franchise, which will premiere Sunday, June 23 at 9:00 p.m.
