ABC Daytime kicks off the New Year with the highly anticipated, one-hour daily talk show, “The Revolution,” set to premiere Monday, January 16at 2:00 p.m., ET. “The Revolution” features a stellar ‘dream team’ of experts including Ty Pennington, Tim Gunn, Harley Pasternak, Dr. Jennifer Ashton and Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry, who will each provide life changing tips and essential tools to motivate viewers and transform all areas of their lives from the inside out. Additionally, each week the show will highlight one woman’s personal journey over the course of five months.

This week on “LIVE! with Kelly,” co-host Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Jerry Seinfeld announced that the popular nationally-syndicated show will travel to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii, for five shows airing February 20-24, 2012. The “LIVE” broadcasts will be set against the backdrop of Aulani’s beautiful beachfront cove on the island of O‘ahu.
During the five shows, “LIVE” will showcase the best of O’ahu, and highlight all that Disney’s latest one-of-a-kind vacation destination has to offer. GSN (Game Show Network) announced today that it has acquired the exclusive off-network rights to ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ from Disney-ABC Domestic Television, which will make GSN the only network on which previous seasons of the mega-hit dance competition can be seen. GSN has acquired seasons 4 through 13 (season 13 will air its final episode tonight on ABC), and will begin airing them in January 2012. The agreement also includes the upcoming 14th season.
ABC Family has begun production on their new pilot, ‘Intercept,’ filming in Los Angeles. ‘Intercept’ stars Danielle Panabaker (‘Shark’), Austin Butler (‘Switched At Birth’), Chloe Wang (‘The Nightlife’) and Nolan Gerard Funk (‘Aliens in America’).
‘Intercept’ is a one-hour technology and action driven drama about a group of college students who get roped into solving crimes when one of them creates a high-tech communication device that intercepts conversations throughout the West Coast. ‘Intercept’ will be executive-produced and written by Ray Wright (The Crazies, Case 39, Pulse), as well executive produced and directed by Kevin Hooks (‘Prison Break,’ ‘Detroit 187,’ ‘Bones’).

The morning of November 17, 2011 brought lots of mayhem to Times Square as well as the ‘Good Morning America’ Studio as ABC’s popular national morning program was taken over by its distant cousins, the Muppets for the duration of the show.
We were on hand to capture some of the mayhem (and magic) as Muppeteers such as Steve Whitmire, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson and Bill Barretta brought many of the classic characters to life in the heart of Times Square. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Swedish Chef, Pepe, Fozzie Bear and many more were on hand for the event which included a live performance of ‘Mahna Mahna’ and Swedish Chef joining celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse for the ‘America’s Pie of Emeril’s Eye’ segment.
