Frank Valentini, executive producer of “General Hospital,” announced today that Emmy Award-nominated Kassie DePaiva and Emmy winner Roger Howarth, along with fan favorites Michael Easton and Kristen Alderson, will reprise their “One Life to Live” characters and head to “General Hospital” as part of a new storyline for the multi-Emmy Award-winning daytime drama. Production begins late January 2012 in Los Angeles.
“We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it! I am confident viewers and fans alike will be excited for the arrival of John (Easton), Starr (Alderson), Blair (DePaiva) and Todd (Howarth),” said Valentini. “Incorporating characters from ‘One Life to Live’ continue the legacy of the show as we weave them into ‘General Hospital.'”

But Ben shocks all the bachelorettes as he makes an unusual decision to end the night, on “The Bachelor,” Monday, January 16 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.
Powered by its biggest yearly ratings ever, Disney XD will premiere more original content with “Lab Rats,” a comedy series about a teenager and his newfound “siblings,” a trio of super-human teens, who together must navigate typical high school and — not so typical — bionic glitches. The series will join Disney XD’s popular “Monday Mayhem” comedy block — led by the channel’s #1 series “Kickin’ It” — with a special one-hour episode on Monday, February 27 at 8:30 pm ET/PT hosted by the cast.
Replacing SOAPnet on most television content providers, Disney Channel today announced that its 24 hour channel, Disney Junior, aimed at the ‘preschool-plus’ market, will begin broadcasting on March 23.
At launch will be the new show, ‘Doc McStuffins,’ which heralds the tales of a six year old girl with a talent to be able to communicate with her stuffed animals and plays veterinarian to them. Future programs will include ‘Gaspard and Lisa,’ ‘Guess How Much I Love You,’ ‘Sofia the First’ and ‘Oki’s Oasis.’
John Corbett (‘Sex and the City,’ Hallmark Hall of Fame movie November Christmas) stars in the inspiring story of a high school football coach and special-education teacher who worked to achieve an impossible dream — to take a class of special-education students to NASA’s Space Camp — in the new Hallmark Hall of Fame film, A Smile as Big as the Moon, premiering Sunday, January 29 at 9 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network. The movie is based on the memoir of the same title, written by teacher Mike Kersjes with Joe Layden.
We have learned that the widely anticipated animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, based on the Marvel comic title of the same name, will debut on Disney XD on April 1, 2012. The show will be the centerpiece of a programming block dedicated to Marvel properties.
The series follows Peter Parker (Drake Bell) one year after he became Spider-Man. Still learning how to make the most of his powers, he is approached by Nick Fury (Chi McBride) of S.H.I.E.L.D. who promises to help Peter, but first Peter must learn to work as a team with his fellow teenaged superheroes. Expected to appear in the series are Tony Stark/Iron Man (Adrian Pasdar), Norman Osborn (Steven Weber), J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons), Agent/Principal Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Wasp, Captain America, Hulk and Thor.
ABC Family will present the world premiere exclusive of Gloriana’s newest video, ‘(Kissed You) Goodnight,’ on January 13th, 2012 during the airing of A Walk to Remember, beginning at 8:30 pm ET/PT. ‘(Kissed You) Goodnight’ is the first single from the band’s forthcoming second studio album on Emblem Music Group/Warner Bros. Records. The new video stars Megan Park (‘The Secret Life of An American Teenager’ and A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, which premieres on ABC Family January 22nd at 8pm ET/PT). Filled with a recruited audience of self-professed fans of ‘One Life to Live,’ ABC’s daytime talk show, ‘The View’ has unleashed its roster of guests and segments for its tribute show to the long-running soap opera on which will air its final episode just hours later on Friday, January 13, 2012.
Just some of the ‘One Life to Live’ alum scheduled to appear on the special tribute are series creator Agnes Nixon, Judith Light (Karen Wolek), Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), Jim DePaiva (Max Holden), Robert S. Woods (Bo Buchanan) and Hillary B. Smith (Nora Buchanan). Serving as special co-host will be six-time Emmy Award winner Erika Slezak (Viki Lord). Even more guests are promised to be announced on The View’s website along with ‘surprise’ appearances.
