We first mentioned the ‘Summerween’ episode of ‘Gravity Falls’ in our coverage of the Disney Television Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year and now the time to celebrate is almost here! This Friday, the ‘Summerween’ episode premieres on Disney Channel and we’ve been given this first look at some of the hilarity that is sure to ensue.
In honor of the second season’s premiere of ‘Once Upon A Time,’ which returns on Sunday, September 30, 2012, ABC and Bloomingdale’s teamed up to bring the experience to stores nationwide and to the famed window displays at its 59th Street flagship store in New York City To commemorate the windows’ unveiling, Jennifer Morrison — best known to her legions of fans as Emma Swan, Storybrooke’s reluctant heroine — was on hand to meet and greet with fans.
Starting today fans of reality hit “Dancing with the Stars” have even greater access to their favorite show, from the first cha-cha to the final waltz. ABC Radio has launched “Dancing with the Stars” Radio, giving listeners an interactive audio experience and unlimited access to the dance floor, whenever and wherever. Season 15 “Dancing with the Stars: All Stars” premieres tonight on the ABC television network.
“We’re adding a new dimension to the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ experience by offering on demand, digital audio content that compliments the viewing experience and increases engagement between the audience and the cast,” said Steve Jones, Vice President and General Manager of ABC News Radio. “When television programming stops, fans can hear highlights, interviews and behind-the-scenes conversation that the camera cannot always capture.”
From former champions to fan favorites, including a celebrity voted in by fans, the All-Star cast along with their professional partners return to the ballroom on the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars,” Monday, September 24 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network. All 13 couples will hit the stage performing either the Cha Cha or the Foxtrot to impress the judges and viewers at home, hoping they’re not the first couple sent home.
The inaugural season’s cliffhanger of ABC’s ‘Scandal’ seeking the real identity of Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes) is about to be answered when the series returns next week on September 27 at 10 pm ET/PT on the ABC television network.
To promote the big reveal, ABC has established a microsite at whoisquinnperkins.com which offers snippets of depositions from the employees at Pope & Associates in an attempt to answer that very question. Videos available to watch include Huck (Guillermo Díaz), Abby (Darby Stanchfield) and Harrison (Columbus Short). A deposition by Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is also teased but is unavailable for some reason, as is all of the depositions spliced together.
Disney Junior has quietly launched a microsite at sofiathefirst.com in anticipation of its first original Disney princess, ‘Sofia the First.’ An original movie is set to premiere on November 18, 2012 at 7 pm ET on Disney Channel, to be followed by a series commencing in spring 2013.
ABC Family, the millennial-skewing network, has greenlit three additional pilots to add to its production slate — “Terminales,” a one hour drama adapted from a successful Televisa series, and two new comedies, “Phys Ed” and “Continuing Fred.” The three pilots will go into production this fall along with the previously announced drama pilots “The Fosters” (working title), from executive producer Jennifer Lopez, and “Socio,” from executive producer Gavin Polone.

These next generation of thinkers and tinkerers are invited to take part in an inventive healthy cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Carla Hall, co-host of ABC’s popular daytime series “The Chew”; participate in activities inspired by Disney’s hit series “Phineas and Ferb” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates”; and use human-power to activate an eco-friendly Disney XD game.

ABC Family scares up 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN for the 14th consecutive spine tingling year, with programming filled with chills and thrills as you countdown to Halloween. The popular programming event, starting Friday, October 19, and concluding on Wednesday, October 31, features a brand new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” featuring special guest “glampire” Adam Lambert, and the season finale of “Switched at Birth.” The stunt will also include the basic cable premiere of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” the ABC Family feature film premiere of “Monster House,” and “Poltergeist III,” and a massive mix of Halloween-themed programming airing for the 13 nights leading up to Halloween.
