The cast of Disney Channel’s hit family sitcom “Good Luck Charlie”– Bridgit Mendler, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico, Eric Allan Kramer and Jason Dolley — star in “Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas!,” a Disney Channel Original Movie premiering Friday, December 2 at 8:00 pm ET/PT. The story follows the Duncans as they scramble to reunite with each other in time for the holiday after they are separated en route to their family vacation in Palm Springs.
The remaining seven couples bring widely entertaining performances to the ballroom floor with explosive dancing and unforgettable songs from some of Broadway’s most popular musicals of all time. The night full of show tunes will include a breathtaking performance from Emmy(r) and Tony Award(r) winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is set to perform a medley of “Maybe This Time” from “Cabaret” and “I Could Have Danced All Night” from “My Fair Lady.” We also welcome the Broadway cast of “Sister Act,” performing a feel-good medley of “Raise Your Voice” and “Sunday Morning Fever.” Plus for the first time this season, the seven couples will perform their second dance of the night together in a Broadway-themed group dance to a medley of “Big Spender” from “Sweet Charity” and “Money Money” from “Cabaret,” on “Dancing with the Stars,” MONDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Production has begun in Atlanta, Georgia on the Disney Channel Original Movie “Let It Shine,” a modern day teenage Cyrano de Bergerac set in the world of gospel music and hip-hop. The movie is scheduled to premiere in summer 2012 on Disney Channel; its soundtrack will include 12 original songs by acclaimed music producers/songwriters/performers such as Rock Mafia (Selena Gomez and The Scene “Love You Like a Love Song”), Grammy-winner Toby Gad (Beyoncé “If I Were A Boy” and Fergie “Big Girls Don’t Cry”) and David Banner (“Dance the Night Away” featuring Denim from “Footloose” and “Get Like Me” featuring Chris Brown and Yung Joc).
Emmy ® and Tony Award ®-winning singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth joins “Dancing with the Stars” in celebrating Broadway with a night full of show tunes and performances by performing a medley of “Maybe This Time” and”I Could Have Danced All Night,” Monday, October 24 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network. On “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” Chenoweth takes to the ballroom stage again with a performance of “Lessons Learned” from her new album from Sony Records titled “Some Lessons Learned,” Tuesday, October 25 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

The show surprised an unprecedented seven families with the door knock that changes lives; the “EM:HE” design team and many others will rebuild 7 homes in just 7 days. Recording artist Justin Bieber will perform live in Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012,” Saturday, December 31 on the ABC Television Network. He joins previously announced act Lady Gaga for the 40th anniversary of the annual year end celebration.
The bi-coastal celebration will include over 5 1/2 hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe, as well as the American tradition of Dick Clark counting down to midnight from Times Square in New York City. Disney Channel today confirmed a report made by Stitch Kingdom weeks ago stating that they were actively developing and casting a series titled ‘Zombies and Cheerleaders.’ We initially reported on the project back in June, when we noticed domain name registrations alluding to the project, but it wasn’t until September that we were able to confirm the project and provide extensive details on the series.
According to Disney Channel, the music-driven pilot will begin production in December (with as an of yet unannounced cast), to be considered for a series in 2012.
The competition gets heated as the remaining eight couples perform any style dance to favorite classic ’80s hit songs. And iconic pop group The Bangles visit the ballroom with a special performance, singing some of their biggest hits, “Manic Monday” and a medley of “Eternal Flame” and “Walk Like an Egyptian,” on MONDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Emmy and Tony Award winner and Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It, ‘Two Trains Running’) stars as Rev. Henry Covington in the new Hallmark Hall of Fame film, ‘Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith,’ premiering Sunday, November 27 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network. The movie, based on the latest best-selling book by Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven), was filmed on location in Detroit.
