The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for new series “Of Kings & Prophets,” “My Diet Is Better Than Yours,” “The Catch,” “The Family” and “The Real O’Neals.” Season premiere dates were also announced for returning favorites “The Bachelor,” “Beyond The Tank,” “Galavant” and “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” They will join the schedule with acclaimed series “American Crime,” previously announced to make its second-season premiere WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6.
Get a look into the mind of the man who pulled off one of the greatest cons in history in the primetime miniseries ‘Madoff,’ airing February 3 & 4, 2016 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network. Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss stars as Bernie Madoff, with Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Blythe Danner as his wife, Ruth. ‘Madoff’ will follow the prodigious rise and abrupt demise of the former investment advisor and the subsequent fallout with his family, associates and investors.
ABC Family’s “25 Days of Christmas,” cable’s biggest programming event of the year, returns with 25 continuous days of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family. From December 1 – 25, viewers can ring in the holidays with holiday specials, classic holiday movies, and returning favorites. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.
This year, “25 Days of Christmas” will feature classic Jim Henson Christmas specials “The Bells of Fraggle Rock” and “Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas,” which have been remastered and are returning to television after several years. Additionally, December 13 features a marathon of Disney?Pixar’s “Toy Story” films. Also, the network will air “Beyond the Shadows: The Making of Shadowhunters,” which gives an inside look at the upcoming saga series.
ABC Family has announced the schedule of its annual ‘Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas’ television event, from November 22 through November 30, which this year coincides with the 20th anniversary of Pixar’s Toy Story. In addition, ABC Family will be airing two all-new original specials: ‘Pretty Little Liars: 5 Years Forward’ and an all-new ‘Young & Hungry’ holiday episode titled ‘Young & Christmas.’

ABC Family (Freeform as of January 2016) has announced its winter premiere dates for new scripted drama ‘Recovery Road’ and fan favorites ‘The Fosters,’ ‘Young & Hungry,’ and ‘Baby Daddy.’ These series join previously announced January premieres for ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and ‘Shadowhunters.’
Disney XD has ordered ‘Walk the Prank,’ a series that blends comedic storytelling with hidden camera reality pranks. The series was created by Adam Small of ‘Mad TV’ and the ‘Jamie Kennedy Experiment’ and Trevor Moore of ‘Whitest Kids U Know.’ ‘Walk the Prank’ will begin production in January and is scheduled to premiere in 2016.
Shot in a cinema verité style, the single-camera series follows a team of practical jokesters who create hilarious over-the-top pranks for an online hidden camera show.
The series stars newcomers Cody Veith as Chance, Bryce Gheisar as Herman, Jillian Shae Spaeder as Bailey, Brandon Severs as Dusty, and Tobie Windham as Will, Dusty’s uncle.
It’s normally a jungle in the emergency room of CBS’ ‘Code Black’ television drama series, but on November 25, 2015 at 10:00 pm ET/PT, things are about to get straight up wild in an episode titled ‘The Son Rises.’ Alton Fitzgerald White, the lead of the touring company of ‘The Lion King’ with a record-breaking 4,000 performance of Mufasa under his belt, and eight other members of ‘The Lion King’ touring cast will guest on the show. The epic storytelling of Disney’s The Lion King continues with The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, a primetime television movie event premiering on November 22 at 7 pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. The movie follows Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, as he assumes the role of leader of the Lion Guard, a team of animals tasked with preserving the Pride Lands. The movie is a precursor to ‘The Lion Guard’ television series, premiering in early 2016 on Disney Channels and Disney Junior channels around the globe.
ABC Television Network and Disson Skating today announced upcoming airdates for its Colgate Skating Series: “Musselman’s Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute” (NOVEMBER 15, 3:00-5:00 p.m., ET), “Pandora Jewelry Holiday Celebrations on Ice” (NOVEMBER 29, 3:00-5:00 p.m., ET), “Paul Mitchell Shall We Dance on Ice” (FEBRUARY 13, 2016, 3:00-5:00 p.m., ET), and “Colgate Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular” (FEBRUARY 20, 2016, 3:00-5:00 p.m., ET).
Each two-hour special will feature world-renowned Olympic ice skating champions and special live musical performances – and select specials will feature Olympic gymnasts and celebrated professional dancers as well.
