Please Note: Although the RoboSim robotic arm has been designed by KUKA Robotics, ‘The Sum of All Thrills’ exhibit itself, located in Innoventions East, is fully designed and sponsored by Raytheon. The exhibit is expected to open within the month of October.
Although they had slowly been dwindling away over the past year or so, this past weekend saw the closure of the last two remaining Kidcot stations in Epcot’s Future World. Saturday was the final day of the program, with the Kidcot station displays in both the Land and Seas pavilions left standing and unstaffed beginning Sunday, October 4.
The Kidcot stations in the World Showcase are unaffected by this change and will continue to operate as normal.
I’ve got a HUGE refurb update here, so bear with me.
At the Magic Kingdom, Crystal Palace will be closed from January 3 through February 13.
At Epcot, Living with the Land is now scheduled to re-open on October 4, which is several weeks earlier than the original date of November 1. Also, the new exhibit in the Japan pavilion (which was the tin toy museum) is now slated to open on October 16.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Boneyard is now scheduled to be closed October 5 through October 18
In case you missed your chance to watch a live taping of Wine Library TV or are just a fan of Gary, Vaynerchuk, here’s your chance to sign up to attend a newly announced seminar Gary will be holding in the Odyssey building at Epcot for the International Food & Wine Festival. The event will take place at 1:30 pm and is free with park admission. Due to the nature of the event, all attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
