ABC Family scares up 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN for the 14th consecutive spine tingling year, with programming filled with chills and thrills as you countdown to Halloween. The popular programming event, starting Friday, October 19, and concluding on Wednesday, October 31, features a brand new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” featuring special guest “glampire” Adam Lambert, and the season finale of “Switched at Birth.” The stunt will also include the basic cable premiere of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” the ABC Family feature film premiere of “Monster House,” and “Poltergeist III,” and a massive mix of Halloween-themed programming airing for the 13 nights leading up to Halloween.
Following is a listing of frightastic programming taking place October 19-31 during ABC Family’s 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN.
Night One – Friday, October 19
The 14th annual 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN kicks off with the sixth chilling installment in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (1:00 – 4:30 PM ET/PT), where Harry must look into the past to help battle the monsters of the present. An evil spirit is resurrected and will stop at nothing to bring his love back to life in The Mummy (4:30 – 7:00 PM ET/PT). Then cap off the first night of Halloween mania with a double dose of those creepy and kooky members of The Addams Family (7:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by Addams Family Values (9:00 – 11:00 PM ET/PT).
Night Two – Saturday, October 20
The thrills start early with a special Halloween episode of ‘Melissa and Joey’ (7:00 – 7:30 AM ET/PT), where Mel hears things that go bump in the night. Then conjure up even more Melissa Joan Hart in the spellbinding film Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (7:30 – 9:30 AM ET/PT). A lonely boy finds an unlikely best friend in The Little Vampire (9:30 – 11:30 AM ET/PT), while a teenage girl decides to get in touch with her witchy side in Teen Witch (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM ET/PT). Then you’ve found the golden ticket to visit Willy Wonka in the candy colored Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1:30 – 4:00 PM ET/PT). Revisit the mischievous ways of the creepiest family around with back to back airings of The Addams Family (4:00 – 6:00 PM ET/PT) and Addams Family Values (6:00 – 8:00 PM ET/PT). Then, if you dare, you have a date with the Sanderson sisters to watch their quest for immortal life and the 300 year-old cat that tries to spoil their plans in Hocus Pocus (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT), with a bonus chance to catch the sisters in dastardly action immediately after (10:00 PM -12:00 AM ET/PT). Night Three – Sunday, October 21
Spend the day with a master of Halloween entertainment with back to back Tim Burton chills and thrills, starting with some haunting animated favorites. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (8:00 – 9:30 AM ET/PT) gets the scares started when Jack Skellington tries to shake up Halloweentown. Continue on with Coraline (9:30 – 11:30 AM ET/PT), the story of a little girl who realizes an idealized version of her unhappy home comes with its own secrets. Then it’s back to Burton when you’re invited to attend the spookiest wedding of the year in Tim Burton’s Corpse
Bride (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM ET/PT). Watch out for the Red Queen as you revisit the fantastical Wonderland in Alice in Wonderland (1:30 – 4:00 PM ET/PT) followed by a return to the world of

Night Four – Monday, October 22
Halloween mania kicks off for the day with an encore presentation of the haunting story of Edward Scissorhands (6:00 – 8:00 PM ET/PT). The Kennish and Vasquez family celebrate fall on the first season finale of ‘Switched at Birth’ (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).
