ABC’s ‘FlashForward’ Extends Its Blackout Until March 18

ABC has recently announced that FlashForward, which was set to finish off its first season on March 4, has now been pushed back to March 18.

On his blog, FlashForward author Robert Sawyer says the move was made to avoid competing with American Idol as well as allowing the release of  Volume One of the series on DVD time to attract a larger audience.

To compensate for the loss of two weeks caused by the delay, both the March 18 episode and the season finale will be two hours long.

  1. I haven't kept up with this show, but thankfully now some of the major corporations are showing episodes after the televised viewing on their websites. Time to catch up on one of the only shows I watch on TV. Thanks!
