Barbie Goes ‘Dancing with the Stars’ with Exclusive Prototypes from FAO Schwarz
Wondering what to get the Barbie / ‘Dancing with the Stars’ fan in your life this holiday season? Look no further as FAO Schwarz just may have the answer. Keeping in tradition with offering the most exotic and unique experiences in the world of toys, FAO is offering up three prototype Barbie ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dolls from Mattel.
Each retail for $1500 and come complete with tickets to a taping of a performance of the show in Los Angeles (airfare not included). Available at the time of press are: the elegant Waltz doll featuring a gown with a strapless pink bodice that is trimmed with diamonds; the Paso Doble doll, dressed in a bodice and red satin and black lace skirt that has hoops that link the skirt to Barbie’s hand for a dramatic, sweeping effect; and the Samba featuring an orange two-piece costume with a short, open skirt that is accented with yellow feathers and pink and orange organza.
If your wallet is still feeling a bit heavy after picking up the dolls, the Bonzini Babyfoot Barbie Foosball Table (only 10 made worldwide) is still available at a pittance of $25,000.
