Earlier today — or yesterday, technically — Walt Disney Animation Studios presented at the annual Annecy Film Festival in France. As part of the presentation, WDAS premiered the short Feast which will play ahead of Big Hero 6 in theaters on November 7, 2014. In addition, Big Hero 6 and Disney/Pixar’s upcoming film Inside Out were also previewed in front of audiences.
As part of the celebration’s decor were colorful blocks which featured key art from all of the upcoming and recent projects from both Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney/Pixar. David Gilson, an illustrator in France, took to his Instagram to share images of these blocks which include key art of all the Big Hero 6 team: Wasabi, Hiro, Go Go Tomago, Honey Lemon, Fred (in Fredzilla form) and, of course, Baymax.
With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius — thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion — a cutting-edge robot named Baymax — and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.
