‘Cars 2′ Soundtrack to be Released June 14; Toys Roll Out May 16; Individual Triptych Posters in Hi-Res

'Cars 2' original motion picture soundtrackAmazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the original motion picture soundtrack to Disney/Pixar’s Cars 2 with an anticipated release date of June 14, 2011. No additional information is available at this time other than it is scored by Michael Giacchino.

Amazon.com also now lists Rev/Racers Lightning Mcqueen and Siddeley Spy Jet from Mattel as being available starting May 16. Previously we were aware the Cars 2 toys would begin rolling out in May in anticipation for the June 24 film, with about 25% of the more than 300 items being held off until fall 2011.
