Disney Publishing Worldwide Debuts Illustrated Books From Tron, Toy Story, Cars and More on Apple’s iBookstore

Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today the debut of beautifully illustrated books from Tron, Toy Story, Cars and other favorites on Apple’s iBookstore. iBooks 1.2 app, Apple’s popular free reading app whose new version was released today and includes the iBookstore, features new visual enhancements for brilliant, full-color, two-page spreads of illustrated books on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

  • Phineas & Ferb: Oh Christmas Tree!

iBooks 1.2 correlates art and relational text in the way that the artists and storytellers intended while allowing readers to enjoy the technical benefits of eReading including:

  • Ability to read the story horizontally or vertically on an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
  • Brilliant, full-color illustrations
  • High resolution as the reader zooms

The picture books are priced from $2.99 – $9.99 at the iBookstore and are available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
