Disney Sound Recording Artists KSM Announce Reality-Based Web Series, Contest Sponsored by ACUVUE®

KSM: Read Between the Lines

BURBANK, Calif. — On August 10, ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses and all-girl teen rock band KSM will debut the reality-based web series “KSM: READ BETWEEN THE LINES Presented By ACUVUE® Brand” at www.teen.com/KSM. From the executive producers of “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream” and “Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience,” the series will document the formation of KSM, the girls’ personal and professional successes, and life on the road. Viewers will be able to see the girls’ journey on tour with Demi Lovato and a special appearance by the Jonas Brothers.

A total of 20 3-5 minute episodes will be filmed with new episodes premiering every Monday and Friday. In addition to the August 10 premiere on www.teen.com/KSM, ACUVUE® Brand will co-host episodes beginning August 17 at ksm.acuvue.com.

A sweepstakes to win a KSM VIP Experience begins August 10 and ends October 25 also at ksm.acuvue.com. The contest winner will get a trip to Hollywood, California, and a two-night stay that includes a Meet-and-Greet with KSM, VIP tickets to a concert, and a makeover by Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato stylist, Michelle Tomaszewski.

KSM’s Shelby (16-lead vocals/guitar), Katie (16-guitar/vocals), Shae (18-lead guitar), Sophia (17-bass) and Kate (17-drums) recently wrapped the first leg of Demi Lovato’s North American tour (June 21-July 22). Earlier this year, KSM opened for Jonas Brothers and Honor Society. The girls’ January appearance with Jonas Brothers in Detroit, resulted in an MTV Buzzworthy mention: “But if you can (temporarily) snap yourself out of your OMJ! euphoria, you might just notice that those chicks on stage are doing a pretty good job of warming up the crowd…we’re thinking their LP may well be hyperventilation-worthy in its own right.”

KSM were invited to record their own rendition of the Cheap Trick classic “I Want You to Want Me,” which appeared in the new ABC Family summer original series, “10 Things I Hate About You” in July.

The band has already topped one million plays on MySpace, while their debut album Read Between the Lines will be released by Disney Sound on September 22.
