Disney/Pixar’s Newest Short, ‘Hawaii,’ May Be Lead-in to ‘Cars 2′

Disney animator and Legend Floyd Norman took to Twitter recently to offer doll-size details on a new short from Disney/Pixar titled Hawaii which features Mattel’s Barbie and Ken from Toy Story 3 as they destine themselves for a ‘Dream Vacation’ to the exotic destination. Norman notes that doesn’t know which film this will be attached to, but we already know that one of the new Toy Story Toons (which we first speculated on back in March 2010 and later confirmed by Disney/Pixar) will be leading into Cars 2 as per Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich.


Ken and Barbie want to go to Hawaii. I don’t know what it’s gonna be attached to. Fun stuff, however.
