E3: Nintendo Names Future Disney Titles for ‘Big Hero 6,’ ‘Planes’ and More

Earlier today at E3 in Los Angeles, Nintendo unveiled an upcoming slate of titles for its various consoles. In addition to ‘Disney Infinity 2.0′ which will be available for the Wii U, the following Disney titles have also been announced (all of which are for the 3DS):

  • ‘Big Hero 6′ (October 28, 2014), developed by Gamemill
  • ‘Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue’ (November 4, 2014), developed by Little Orbit
  • ‘Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music’ (September 19, 2014), developed by Little Orbit

In addition, Bandai-Namco will be releasing , ‘Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2,’ for both the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS in support of its Disney XD animated program in October.

Disney Planes Fire & Rescue (Wii, Wii U, 3DS and DS)
‘Disney Planes Fire & Rescue’ features an all-new adventure inspired by the Disney 3D animated film of the same name releasing this summer. Disney Planes Fire & Rescue is an Action/Adventure game that let kids play as one of the elite Piston Peak Air Attack Team – operating Fire & Rescue aircraft and all-terrain vehicles to put out raging fires and keep Piston Park’s wildlife and visitors safe.

Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music (Nintendo Wii, 3DS and DS)
‘Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music,’ the video game based on the hugely-successful international tween telenovela from Disney Channel, is a musical rhythm game launching across European territories and in South America this summer. In ‘Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music’ players experiment with music and rhythm on their way to become a singing superstar.
