E3: Square Enix Announces ‘Kingdom Hearts 3D’ for Nintendo 3DS

Kingdom Hearts 3D for Nintendo 3DSWith absolutely no game description, no release date, no game rating and no game title, Square Enix has confirmed that it plans to release a 3D chapter in the Kingdom Hearts series for the Nintendo 3DS, the new portable gaming device that introduces 3D gameplay without the need for glasses.

During a presentation for the new game platform, Nintendo of America also announced that it has reached agreements with multiple studios to release 3D films for playback on the platform, including Walt Disney Studios. Disney’s Tangled was used, in part, to help demonstrate the new product.

  1. omfg to the max people twilight thorn in traverse town ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Will someone please explain to me why they have to make practically EVERY Kingdom Hearts game for a different console!? My friends and I are already having to go communist style on a PSP just for Birth by Sleep. Ugh….

  3. I get it now… this is a sequel of kingdom hearts 2 leading up to Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and after you understand the story of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded you will see that Kingdom Hearts Re:coded leads up to the next kingdom hearts game which is 3 because that's the only way it would make sense in the time line Concluding the Xehanort Saga! Nomura did say kingdom hearts 3 will be released depending on how well Final Fantasy XIII Versus does.

  4. They did that so they could make more money. Helping everyone out because lots of kh fans also games like kh358/2 don't look right on the psp. Also because this is a sub story following the main plot. Ansem Seeker of darkness.
