Enjoy D23 Events Nationwide this Summer – from Los Angeles to Chicago to New York & In-Between
The following are a list of events being held for D23 members in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Orlando, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City, San Francisco and Burbank. Remember that your D23 membership card will be required to attend all events. Visit http://www.d23expo.com for more details.
D23 ‘UP’ All Night – May 28 – Los Angeles
Details: Beginning at 7 pm, there will be a pin trading event for D23 members only at the Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store (located next to the El Capitan theater) where eight new limited edition pins exclusive to the store will be released. Space is limited.
Then at 10 pm, enter the El Capitan theater and enjoy complimentary popcorn and soda as you’re treated to Disney music played on the theater’s Mighty Wurlitzer. Enjoy special guest appearances and more. Showing of the main feature and it’s accompanying short, Partly Cloudy, begins at 11 pm.
In order to attend the event, D23 members must reserve a space by calling 818-845-3110. D23 members may bring one guest and space is limited. Members wishing to attend the pin trading event must explicitly request such in addition to the screening.

D23 Flowers and Fireworks Celebration at Epcot – May 31 – Walt Disney World
Details: Beginning at 7:15 pm, enjoy reserved seating at the American Gardens Theatre and be entertained by Tony Orlando as the final performance of the Flower Power Concert Series. Then be treated to desserts, coffee and viewing of Illuminations in a private viewing area.

D23′s Supercalifragilistic Night on Broadway – June 24 – New York City
Details: See Disney Theatrical’s Mary Poppins in classic D23 style. Members may purchase tickets at the regular box office price and receive: a premium seating location, a special ‘behind-the-scenes’ experience following the show, a coupon for 20% off merchandise and a complimentary 2-disc Mary Poppins 45th Anniversary Special Edition DVD.

D23′s Breeze into the Windy City – June 24 – Chicago
Details: See Disney Theatrical’s Mary Poppins in classic D23 style. Members may purchase tickets at the regular box office price and receive: a premium seating location, a complimentary souvenir program, a special ‘behind-the-scenes’ experience following the show, a coupon for 20% off merchandise and a complimentary 2-disc Mary Poppins 45th Anniversary Special Edition DVD.

D23′s Roar Into Vegas – June 27 – Las Vegas
Details: See Disney Theatrical’s The Lion King at Mandalay Bay in classic D23 style. Members may purchase tickets at the regular box office price and receive: a premium seating location, a special ‘behind-the-scenes’ experience following the show and complimentary admission to the Founder’s Room at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay.

D23 Day(s) at the Walt Disney Studios and Archives – June 27 & August 15 – Burbank, CA
Details: Enjoy a 2 hour tour of the Walt Disney Studios and Archives led by D23 and Archives cast members.
Members may reserve tickets for themselves and 1 guest. More details to follow.

D23′s Disneyland, USA – July 17 – Anaheim, CA
Details: Beginning at 6 pm, celebrate Disneyland’s birthday with a backstage screening of the ‘People and Places’ featurette Disneyland, U.S.A along with a panel discussion including Imagineer Tony Baxter, Archivist Dave Smith and Studio Archivist Ed Hobelman.
Members will be able to reserve a ticket for themselves and one guest. Further details to be announced.

Details: Visit the Disney family museum before it opens to the public in October with your host, museum executive director, Richard Benefield.
