FIRST LOOK: Disney Fairytale Couples Designer Collection by Disney Store

Making the rounds on the interwebs this weekend, and even hinted at by Disney Store designer Steve Thompson, is our first look at the fabled upcoming Disney Fairytale Designer Collection featuring several Disney Princesses alongside their romantic counterparts.

Expected to be an actual doll collection in the vein as the Disney Princess Designer collection as well as the Disney Villains designer collection, the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection is expected to be formally announced later this month and is expected to feature the couples boxed together at a retail cost of around $130 US per set.

For now, what we have are images from a complementary lithograph set which feature Ariel and Prince Eric, Princess Jasmine with Aladdin, Belle with Beast, Princess Rapunzel with Flynn and Snow White with her Prince — the last of which is expected to be a D23 Expo exclusive, or at least a variant thereof.

In light of the news, we have re-sourced the images from the lithograph collection and made them available in our gallery below. The set should retail for around $30 US and features the five prints, each measuring approximately 8″ x 10″ in size. Please note there has been some corrections made to the images below so they may not be wholly accurate. As usual, click on any of the thumbnails to see a larger version:

  1. I wish the Beast was portrayed as his human counterpart in these prints as well as the rumored dolls.

    • I completely agree. I would love to see more Adam and Belle merchandise. I mean he did become human at the end. I hope that in the future they at least consider it.
