Hallmark Previews Itty Bittys Collection for 2015

Frozen Itty Bittys from HallmarkHallmark has recently released its 2015 Itty Bittys checklist (PDF), featuring all the existing open edition plush plus upcoming seasonal limited editions. While there appears to be nothing new for the DC and Marvel licenses, Hallmark has plenty of plans for other existing licenses as well as adding additional licenses such as Peanuts (Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus and Lucy) as well as Halloween versions of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo and, of course, Disney’s Muppets.

In addition to continuing the limited editions, Hallmark will also release several boxed sets throughout 2015 as well as introduce a new product line, known as Biggys — 10 1/2″ size versions of specific Itty Bittys — in 2015, the only announced Biggys thus far are the Frozen Anna, Elsa and Olaf (June). The only announced Jumbo version so far is that of Star Wars Darth Vader which is expected in December and will come with a belt accessory that holds four Itty Bittys around his waist.

For Disney, Hallmark has announced: limited edition Lady and Tramp (January); limited edition wedding Ariel and Eric (January); an Easter box set consisting of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy; a limited edition Easter Thumper and Easter Flower (February); and Olaf and Sven (May) will join Anna and Elsa (December 2014).

The Pixar line which consists only of Sulley and Mike Wazowski will expand next month to include Nemo, Dory, Buzz Lightyear and Woody. A new Muppets line, also due out this year, will include Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal and Fozzie Bear.

Star Wars will see a massive increase in its existing line. First up in February is a Han Solo and Leia Organa set (packaged with them holding hands), Chewbacca and Yoda. Trapping summer in an eternal winter, August will see a release of a boxed Hoth set including Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Taun Taun and Wampa, with the Stormtrooper also releasing in August — try not to buy hundreds of them to complete the army though. Chewbacca and Yoda will return for the holiday season all decked out for Christmas along with R2-D2 and C-3PO.

In addition to the items listed on the checklist, it’s likely there will be additional releases to be announced at a later date, plus it’s likely Hallmark will continue its convention exclusives which to date have included a D23 Expo Sorcerer Mickey, a Batman exclusive and Star Wars Bantha and Tusken Raider Comic-Con exclusives.
