New ‘Kingdom Keepers’ Trilogy by Ridley Pearson to Debut in 2015

The insanely popular Kingdom Keepers series may have ended with volume VII, but it is far from over. Disney Publishing Worldwide has announced a new trilogy by Ridley Pearson to debut in March 2015 featuring the Kingdom Keepers characters as well as new characters. According to Disney, the beloved Kingdom Keepers head to an exclusive Imagineering school where they begin to discover that everything they’ve been through may have been all in preparation for a mission they could never have imagined.

The first of the trilogy is currently titled Disney Lands and is slated for a release on March 31, 2015. The publisher’s description is as follows:

With the defeat of the Overtakers behind them, the five teenagers known as the Kingdom Keepers should be celebrating. By all accounts, they saved Disneyland from certain destruction. Why then did their mentor leave one last puzzle for them to solve? Finn Whitman has dreamed of himself as a projected two-dimensional, black-and-white character in a stage setting he doesn’t understand. As he and the other Keepers take turns jumping back and forth to and from this place, Philby begins to believe the impossible: their holograms are revisiting a Disneyland of a bygone era. They are time traveling. This is the mission Wayne has sent them on. Not only do they need to make sense of it, they must do so quickly. If they can’t solve the puzzle of the past, the present may hold no room for their own existence as Keepers, and the parks themselves may be crushed under an evil that makes the Overtakers seem like gentle souls.
