WATCH: ‘The Story of Frozen’ Clip, ‘Voices of Young Anna & Elsa’

(ABC/Ron Tom) JENNIFER LEE, CHRIS BUCKIn our recent review of the ABC television special, ‘The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic,’ we noted that some of the new behind-the-scenes footage included the daughter of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Katie, and the daughter of writer/co-director Jennifer Lee, Aggie, performing the singing voice of Anna alongside Kristen Bell in ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’

ABC has just released a clip from the show, showing just that, in which Lee explains that they were originally intended for scratch (temporary) voices only, but that they provided a ‘sweet vulnerability and naivete and just purity’ that they wanted to capture and as the children did help to inspire the characters, it seemed a natural fit. Without further ado, below is the clip featuring performances by Katie Lopez (and, briefly, little sister Annie) and Agatha Lee Monn as young Anna(s).

‘The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic,’ will air on the ABC television network on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 8:00 pm ET/PT.
