Mondo Announces New Disney/Pixar Poster Series by Tom Whalen; ‘Monsters Inc.’ On Sale Friday

'Monsters Inc.' by Tom Whalen for MondoMondo announced a new Disney/Pixar poster series by artist Tom Whalen today, which will kick off with its first entry, Monsters Inc., to be available for purchase at a random time tomorrow.

The piece features Boo (in Monster form) alongside James P. Sullivan (a.k.a. Sulley, a.k.a. Kitty), Mike Wazowski and a clever appearance by Randall. The bottom is trimmed with the company’s name and tagline along with portraits of George Sanderson, Waternoose, Fungus, Roz and Celia.

The 18″x24″ screened print will retail for $45 and will be limited a print run of just 365 pieces.

It will go on sale this Friday, September 2, 2011 at MondoTees.com at a random time. Those interested in purchasing the poster are advised to follow @MondoNews on Twitter for the on-sale announcement as the Mondo prints have been known to sell out completely in seconds.
