‘Muppet Babies’ Reboot Coming to Disney Junior in 2018

Disney has begun production on a ‘Muppet Babies’ series reboot, slated to debut on Disney Junior in early 2018.

The show, which will be co-produced by Disney Junior, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media’s (DCPI) Content & Media group, and The Muppets Studio, will be CG-animated this time around. Much like the original, the new series will chronicle the playroom antics of Kermit, Piggy, Animal, and more. Even Miss Nanny will be returning.

Each episode of the show will feature two 11-minute stories about the Muppet Babies’ adventures. The iconic characters will be doing anything from building a time machine to flying through outer space. The series will be geared towards kids aged 4-7 and will highlight creative and critical thinking.
