‘The Muppets’ Tons of New Hi-Res Stills, Publicity, Behind-the-Scenes, Posters and More
How much does an image weigh? Not much we’re guessing, as Walt Disney Studios and Muppets Studio have graciously plied us with a literal ton of them, all in support of their newest film, The Muppets, in theaters nationwide on November 23, 2011.
When Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.
We’ll start with the newest sensations to hit the web, Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and Rowlf as Bella Swine, Vamphibian and Wererowlf in a timely send-up of the Twilight film saga, which held its Breaking Dawn world premiere last night. You have no doubt seen these images before, but the really good news is that we have been given incredibly high resolution versions of the images. The really bad news is that due to file size limitations, they had to be cut down to be shown here. In any case, click on any of the thumbnails to expand the image, then click the resize arrows to see the image in an even larger form.
Next up is our behind-the-scenes gallery, to which we’ve added one additional image to the beginning, this one of director James Bobin working hardly (or is it hardly working?).
Next we have the majority of the ton, newly released stills from Disney’s The Muppets. Please note that the captions are wordy and lengthy and may contain minor spoilers.
And finally, we cap off our current collection of publicity images. Again, we maintain these as high a resolution as possible, so make sure you’re clicking on that resize arrow.
