i was incredibly disappointed by the train tour. while the costuming and visuals were remarkable and quite beautiful, the issues were beyond horrendous. we stood for an hour and a half in over 90 degree heat in oakland only to be ushered through without even being able to actually look at the detail. i felt as if i was a machine being pushed along a track. sad really. and then when we got to the place where we could take pictures, people were rude and weren't even saying excuse me when they bumped into us. not to mention the fact that we were told that each time we wanted to get a new picture, we should scan the bar code at the bottom of the ticket to start and that all the pictures we took would be sent to the e-mail address we entered. so that's what we did. once the pictures came in (nearly a month later), the only picture that was saved was the picture of my 74 year old mother as Ebenezer Scrooge. we had morphed my 6 year old niece into the character Belle, but that apparently wasn't saved. when i sent an e-mail to walmart about it (several e-mails) to complain, their response was that only a chosen few were able to get more than one picture. they were lucky apparently, and i (an annual pass holder at disneyland) was not. i can tell you that if disney puts something like this together again, they should consider that multiple people would like to have their "souvenier picture" saved and they should not "select a few" to get the multiples. i'm terribly disappointed with disney and walmart. and i'm seriously considering the amount of money that i give to the mouse on an annual basis.
