From now through June 12, Disney fans are invited to order tickets to the new musical making its theatrical debut at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey on September 15. Those taking advantage of the pre-sale can also save an additional 10% by using code FBDISNEY either online or by calling 973-376-4343.

Directed by Jeff Calhoun and with a book written by Harvey Fierstein, the musical also features songs by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Jack Feldman who collaborated for the stage adaptation.

New York City area visitors/residents are advised that the theater is easily accessible via NJ Transit from Penn Station which runs to the Millburn station, less than half a mile away from the theatre.

The show is scheduled to run for just one month at the Paper Mill Playhouse, through October 16, 2011.

Plans to bring the show to Broadway are anticipated but have not yet been announced. The film is also expected to have some connection with Disney California Adventure as part of its makeover, but nothing confirmed there yeteither.
