This past weekend, Marvel Television gave attendees at New York Comic-Con the very first look at its upcoming series, ‘Daredevil,’ which will premiere on Netflix in 2015. Based on the popular Marvel super hero, and taking great influence from Frank Miller’s The Man Without Fear, the dark 13-episode series stakes itself in ‘gritty reality’ and will lead into additional series based on Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

Most of the series’ lead actors were present at the panel: Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock / Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich) and Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna). Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) and Scott Glenn (Stick) were not present at the panel.

The panel shared a few scenes from the series: notably one in which Karen Page arrives at her home to find an unexpected guest with a mysterious purpose, leading up to an incredible fight scene between the intruder and Daredevil; a scene in which Temple aids a bleeding and unmasked Murdock with the pair uncomfortably trying to reveal as little possible about themselves to each other; the scene in which Vanessa and Fisk first meet at an art gallery as he finds solace in a painting of various shades of white; and a scene between Page, Murdock and Nelson at the law office, seated around a small table and conversing over breakfast with Page convincing Nelson and Murdock they need to hire her for a salary of nothing.

Below are two images of Cox as both Matt Murdock and as Daredevil. They are presented here in high-resolution and watermark free.
