According to a media website produced by Walt Disney Studios, Toy Story 4 has now been pushed back to June 21, 2019, replacing what would have been the anticipated release of Brad Bird’s The Incredibles 2, which will now take Toy Story’s place in 2018. Previously scheduled for a release date of June 15, 2018, this is the second time the movie’s release was pushed back, with the original release date of June 16, 2017.

According to the original announcements, Toy Story 4 is being written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. It will be directed by John Lasseter with Josh Cooley in the co-director’s seat. The film has been described as a love story.
