Earlier today, Disney Consumer Products and JAKKS Pacific held a VIP (Very Important Princess) event at the Toys ‘R’ Us in New York’s Times Square in which future princess socialites were invited to partake in various activities in support of the launch of what’s already made the list of several must-haves this holiday season, the Disney Princess and Me line of dolls and accessories.
Upon checking in for the event, attendees were given a lanyard which listed the various activities offered at the event and, after completing the first quest of determining which of the princess they were most like as per a personality quiz, were sent on to the grace the pink carpet and head into the main event space. Other activities during the event included a royal salon, a ‘magical mani’ [cure], the opportunity to take a free photo with their favorite Princess & Me doll (and optionally dress in one of the matching dresses), decorate the frame for the photo and then partake in the tea party itself before taking the royal princess pledge and receiving a departing gift.
On October 16, Toys ‘R’ Us stores across the nation will be hosting their own Princess & Me Royal Party events between 2 – 4 pm. Activities during the event include decorating your own Princess & Me tiara, story time and more.
