Last night, Disney held a release party for the Vinylmation Urban Series #2 at The Art of Disney in Downtown Disney’s Marketplace. On hand to celebrate were Disney artists Dan Howard, Lisa Badeen, Lin Shih, Mike Sullivan, Quynh Kimball and Donna Kozatek. Also on display were a number of future Vinylmation releases and our good friend @prd3000 was able to attend and provided us with several amazing photos of the upcoming releases displayed behind glass.

elizabeth-glaser-573 First up is the Vinylmation Holiday Series #1 which is expected to be released in September 2009. Click on each of the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the image or click on the PicLens link to start the slideshow.

elizabeth-glaser-631 Next is Vinylmation Cutesters Series #1 which is expected to be released in October 2009. As above, you can click on each of the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the image or click on the PicLens link to start the slideshow.

There will also be a series of individual Vinylmations released throughout the upcoming months to commemorate parties and other special events. Here’s but a sample:

Coming in November 2009 is Vinylmation Park Series #3 which includes some of the best 9″ Vinylmation collectibles in my opinion. I’m particularly fond of the 9″ Winnie the Pooh accompanied by the 3″ Piglet. Pooh also features a bumblee on the back of one of his ears and the expression on Piglet’s face is absolutely priceless (well, maybe $75 worth).

Vinylmation Urban Series #3 is set to be released in January 2010:

Vinylmation Muppet Series #1 will be released in 2010:

And the Vinylmation Pool Series will also be released in 2010:

Last, but the furthest from least, some of the spectacular Disney artists who make Vinylmation and the magic of Disney possible, the artists who appeared at last night’s event:
