In addition to news on Toy Story 4 and the mysterious Strange Magic, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm also caused a near meltdown today when they casually announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015) had completed principal photography (and oh! it has a subtitle too, we guess).
To commemorate the neo-historic event, a title treatment for the film was also revealed. Through a few mindtricks of our own, we managed to get our hands on an ultra high res version of the title treatment (20+ megapixels in fact) and are presenting it here to you in its full glory. Fortunately most of it is space and as it turns out, space compresses pretty well, so we didn’t have to reduce it to get it here.
Production has already begun on Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Has a Tummy Ache and Doesn’t Want to go to School Today as well as the first of three spinoff, standalone films.
