Walt Disney Records has just released an interactive preview of the original motion picture soundtrack to The Muppets on YouTube. As boring as a video for a soundtrack might sound at first, Disney has added its own color-coded commentary from the Muppets themselves via text blips, allowing the video to offer up some eye candy in addition to ear candy (and that’s asking for a lot of cavities).
When Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.
The Muppets soundtrack will be available to own on November 21 and is now available for pre-order
