Disney Theatrical Announces Lottery, Rush Tickets for Broadway Shows

Earlier today, Disney Theatrical announced that it will be offering same-day ticket programs for both ‘Newsies’ as well as its newest Broadway family member, ‘Aladdin.’

Beginning two and a half hours before each performance, patrons can sign up to enter a lottery drawing for ‘Aladdin’ tickets which will be held two hours before showtime at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 W 42nd Street). Winners will be able to purchase up to two tickets each for $30 each ticket (cash only).

Meanwhile, ‘Newsies’ will be offering rush tickets, available on a first come, first serve basis when the box office at the Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st Street) opens — 10 am most days (11:30 am on Sundays). Tickets will be $30 each and each patron will be limited to a maximum of two tickets.

For both productions, seating locations are at the discretion of theater management.
