Walt Disney Animation Studios last night released a new television spot for its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph, out in theaters on November 2, 2012. Whereas the Paperman short that will open for the film is a real game changer, Ralph is a literal game changer as evidenced in the new commercial. The ad features plenty of new footage including an overview of Litwak’s Family Fun Center & Arcade and all other sorts of goodies.
Also included in the commercial is Owl City’s original song for the film, ‘When Can I See You Again?’ Described as ‘a very bouncy, happy, uplifting song, but there’s a bittersweet part of it, leaving a key relationship in the film open-ended’ song by writer Adam Young, not too much is audible in the commercial short of a line that appears to read ‘it’s been fun but now I’ve got to go,’ which could speak for Ralph’s departure of the Fix-It Felix Jr arcade game (minus the fun part).
